This weekend is my start of the trout redfish season and good luck trying to get in my way.Im blessed to be able to walk into my back yard turn the key in my boat and within 1 hr be on some of the best redfishing on the planet.
 
Bass Master here bro!!!!! Been hitting them pertty hard for the past two weeks, 45 feet from my front door = 25 acre lake full of largemouth bass, pickerel, and few other fine species.... only down fall is i hit this lake in my wadders and the snapper turtles are fucking huge some 3feet wide and scare the shit out of me. Good luck..................
 
Man I like it all. I am skipping my annual Alaska halibut trip this year to cut some expenses. Colorado trout fishing will be the limit of my fishing this year.
 
What kind of boat are you running? I run a 2170 Blazer Bay with a 175 Zuki. We have been slaying the gator trout. Up to six pounds. Top water early and float rigs as the sun gets high. We are about to get our annual run of Kings and Cobia off the beach.
 
so shrimp, you go in your backyard, turn the key, and ride your boat to lakes?
how does that work, do you have a channel in your yard? fug me the snakes gotta be outta control
in channels/lakes down that way
 
I'm not a fisherMAN... :0) But I do fish! Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon, and Halibut! Salmon and Steelhead fishing right in my backyard. It doesn't get any better than that! The Spring Salmon run was awesome! My freezer is nice n full.... bring on the BBQ.
 
I'm waiting for the water to warm up so the albacore, yellow tail & yellow fin start heading north. Bottom fishing for rock cod, red snapper, turbos gets boring.

Fished on the other side of bayou biloxi today as far as breton sound had 65 trout 2 over 5 lbs and more reds than we could keep.I'm gonna do it again tomm.I fish out of a 19 ft spartan with a 150 evinrude.

Had to turn around this morning at 5am lake borgne had 4' waves and i wasnt crossing that shit by myself
 
Werea are you fishing out of Shrimp? Im here on the Tejas coast and we have been hulling out the Big Trout and Flounder! I mean killing them! Few reds also when i fell like going after them. The damn wind has been so bad here as of late that i havent been able to get out on the water in a few days. I hope it turns around soon though.

Im in lake ponchartrain but i fish all over this time of year the reds are thick in the marshs on the other side of lake borgne in 2 weeks the brown shrimp start moving north and i follow the fish where ever they go.
 
i try to fish i never catch a thing...instead i ended up smashing a case and riding wheelies in the boat home hahahah i just sold my fishing pole and gaff last week to put gas in my car lol
