Future of Steroids

hey guys, just had something on my mind.
with the government cracking down about everything and even testing high schoolers for steroids in some states it worries me about the future and safety of steroids.

i figure it will be near impossible to obtain steroids and use them without medical reasons in the next 10-20 years. what is your guys' opinion on the matter? They seem to be making this the biggest deal ever, even more than drugs, and joe biden seems to hate them. stereotypes are killing the image of steroid users today in society.

Watch Bigger Faster Stronger... Joe Biden doesn't know shit about steroids! Once the public becomes educated on the use of steroids, and realize it's not the demon the media has made it out to be, senators and government will jump off the bandwagon and press on about important issues... like our FUCKING economy!

has it made it any harder to get cockaine or heroin?
war on drugs doesnt work,it will be just fine

The only thing that will happen is the price will go up. But I think the economy problems will actually help with this anti-steroid madness and other drugs as well. California is talking about making Marijuana legal so they can tax it. Once that start the flood gates will open.

yeah, but if marijuana is made legal then don't you think that they are going to single out steroids even more?

The black market for all drugs will never go away. Neither will the one for hormone distribution. Too much demand. As far as the real future for "steroid" like drugs, they continue to evolve. Merk & Co recently joined up with GTx Inc to develop, test, and market a new "SARM" (Selective ANDROGEN Receptor Modulator) (Guess what that is kids?) called Ostarine. Things like this will bring hormone replacement therapy, and "anti aging" medicine more and more into the public eye of acceptance. Once big name companies start releasing these new, revolutionary versions of steroids (with fancy trade names that make you think they're not steroids), things will slowly start to change. Funny thing is though, I guarantee the stigma against "steroids" will likely never go away. People will be using them, and accepting of them for their benefits...but gawd, don't call them steroids...they're "SARMs" now! ;) The benefit of SARMs over current steroids we're used to is the fact that they will work just as well, or better but without the potential for side effects, because they will target the specific steroid (er I mean "SARM") receptors they are supposed to, and not the ones they're not.

GTx, Inc. and Merck & Co., Inc. Enter Global Strategic Collaboration for the Development of SARMs, a Novel Investigational Class of Drugs to Treat Muscle Loss and other Musculoskeletal Conditions

The future of steroids is that they will become obsolete once they isolate human muscle stem cells that directly modify production of mIGF-1. Lifting weights will become obsolete, too.

This is a great answer right here.

No worries. Once we, as a nation, declare war on something, we always fail.

For example,

How are we doing on the War against hunger? You still hundreds of thousands of people IN OUR OWN country starving.

How is the War on Poverty working out? We still have hundreds of thousands of homeless and poor people in our country.

The War on terror? It's a joke. Anyone feel any safer? Basically, all the war on terror has done is make more countries hate us and the ones that already did hate us, just hate us more. The only thing the war on terror did was make flying even less fun than it was.

The war on Drugs has been pretty fruitful. We've managed to over-crowd our prison system to the breaking point with non-violent offenders. All the war on drugs has done is make it EASIER for people to get drugs. Kind of the opposite result then what they were going for.

So, I say the hell with it, if the government wants to wage a War on Steroids, I say please do. After looking at their previous "War" record, we all have NOTHING to worry about.

Just think if we won all of these wars on everything, how many people would be out of jobs. If we win the war on drugs, the dea is out. The war on poverty, all the people who do social work for the state, gone. The war on terror, TSA bye bye!

All of these so called wars are a BIG part of our infrastructure they create jobs and that creates income for everybody.

I dont think steroids will be gone anytime soon. As long as there is a demand for them somebody will make them. No worries
