Ok so my wife has her RN now and is going for some damn law degree of some kind. Forensic science something along these lines yada yada blah blah.. This is all great.

Now here is what is going on. Because of her RN and now her law background she was asked to go interview for some charge nurse or some shit like this.. Get this. Its at a prison!!!!! I guess she is the type of person they are looking for.

So ok they want my 95lb wife to be some nurce/guard charge nurse wtf ever around a bunch of big ass locked up men who prob have not seen a peace of ass in god knows how long.

Not sure I am ok with the wifey doing a job like this. Its a whole lot more pay, and the benafits of course are a lot better too. BUT COME ON INMATES!!!!!!!!! may I add that its a state prison not a county ether.
 
Needto, I would weigh out the pro's and cons (no pun intended yes I said it). In reality she will never be totally alone with a prisoner. I know this. There are risks involved and I am not here to deny that. This is a topic that only you and your better half should make. They might stare at her ass, but dude, they going back to that cell getting a ass full of cawk. JMHO. Oh but the stuff they do under the sheets and throw around is kinda iffy.... forgot about that.
 
my girls grandma was a nurse at state prison for like 40+yrs, she loved it. said it was nerve racking sometimes, but worth it
 
Little story of Love for you.

Guy goes off to prison for rape on Hilton Head. Gets out and the police give him a little visit to welcome him back to HH. NAACP get's all whipped up about harrassment. Three days later guys rapes a 64 year old women in a beach villa. Off to prison for good he goes.

Year later he grabs a woman prison guard and locks the both of them in a closet and rapes her for a few hours.

I'm not think prison work is that great for a 95lb woman or a woman in general.

Angel is a strong person. However, she needs to be surrounded by positive uplifting or atleast people who don't reflect the evil in our world.
It would only further a negative view.
I have no right to say what she should do, however, I think that with her education, skill, a place to be 'needed' is not that one.
Peeps who want to work in prisons... know right off the bat that wanna be there.
Hell no. That is the worst environment for her to be in.
 
Angel has the ability to see a situation and then express how it needs to be improved. Yeah, she's gotta dark side, why amplify it with that atmosphere.
she should not be a flight attendant, thats more like CM type stuff. The despair, hatred, and well conflicting atmosphere pollutes U whether U are aware of it or not.
Dude, I'm just sayin. She has a talent in 'practical' creavitivity. She looks at a situation, and the question hits her... how can this be better.
Prison is not the ideal place to excercise this gift.

You should never let her be a prison nurse!!!

Instead, just let her get a hospital job where she'll be surrounded by 28-35 year-old swinging dick male doctors who are coming into big six-figure incomes. Then of course she'll also be getting hit on by GQ-ready sales reps from the implants and heart catheter companies too.

Why in the world would you want her surrounded by sweaty, dumb, loser inmates when she could have a front-row seat to the Mr. America pageant every day?

Oh, and once she's in that hospital job, tell her she wants to sit on the "New Product Evaluation" and "Product Standardization" committees. That will insure she never pays for a meal or even a box of doughnuts for the rest of her life. She'll have "working dinners" with vendors at least five nights a week, so the doctors will have to stick to lunches and weekend meals with her.

These types of things are the least of my worries bro.. I am 100% sure of my marriage. I am more worried about her safety then anything else.
 
As it's already been said. She'll never be alone with an inmate. The inmates will likely be shackled the entire time. My worry is that if she is anything IRL like she is here, that she would mouth off to some of them and give them cause to want to harm her. If she can contain that, then I wouldn't worry. Usually a cushy job with great pay and benefits. Definitely worth a serious look and discussion.

Make a list of questions with her that you want answered and have her ask them those questions. Examples) Any incidents in the past? What's the guard to prisoner ratio in the infirmary? What's the nurse to prisoner ratio? Are they constantly restrained? Etc. You guys can come up with tons of your own questions.

needto, my ex was a 5'11 swedish blonde type who worked in the biggest state penn here in OH........I heard it all, it ain't the inmates bro, it's the guards. Ironically it's the inmates that tend to be the more chivalrous to women in there. The guards are the sleazeballs. The inmates know that any fucking around with female staff gets them the "hole" for a week or two........the guards have no such qualms. They get away with practically anything cause not a whole lot of people want to do that job.

And like Ariel said, it's just a bad environment overall.

Context, Environment are so overlooked. Every new research study I have seen in the last 3 years prove this.

I have a friend whos wife is a prison nurse, she said the same thing. The 8 bucks an hour guards are the damn slime balls, who give her hell. Idk bout where yall are but the guards at the state pin that is close to me, look more like convicts than the dudes they got locked up. You will end up curb stomping a bitch, trust me.
 
Needtoo I did not read all of the posts so don't know if anyone has said this or not. Most of the inmates get out in time. If they end up becoming fixated on you wife, and they are the ONE with a screw loose, they will try to find her after they are out. This means that you guys would be putting your whole family at risk including your children. Take it from someone who has worked in the corrections world, its not worth the extra money.

When I was tossed in the drunk tank it was common for when the nurse was at the door dispensing Meds the trash would pull it out and wax one out looking at the Nurse. I wouldnt want my wife working there and they get paid less here than Nurses in other fields.....not Prisons.
Not to mention if they douse her with urine or Feces.

O the pay is big here, and the benefits are big too. Retirement funds,bad ass medical,the whole 9 yards. I mean its the only reason We are even thinking about it. Or at least the only reason I am.. Shit she is already all hyped fro the interview lol
