Approved Log My post probably fake anavar cycle

The quick and dirty. I did some anavar to fix a long lasting surgical wound that wouldn't heal, even after 3 surgeries to help it heal. Supplier says it's good and the mix with my bcp made me gain about 17 pounds in 4 weeks. We'll see what the roid test says. Anyways, now I've got to get back to where I was and hopefully lose this extra 10-15 I've been packing around for 5 years. I'm 40, 5'7 and 149lbs. (141 at beginning of July before the var and 156.4 three days ago, post var.) to be totally honest, I did the anavar with the hopes of healing, ate like shit and didn't train. Fitness wasn't my goal. Healing was. Now, in attempts to regain my shape and health, I am going to attempt a high protein keto type diet. Should I attempt carnivore? Keto? Is there something better? I am heavily addicted to sugar, my sleep is shit, my hormones a mess. I am fairly active but don't train. With two kids and a business and two houses I rarely shower, nevermind go to the gym. For now I want to focus on nutrition and ill get to the training when the kids are back to school in Sept. I hold a lot of weight in my abdomen, so losing that would be great. Besides bcp, I take magnesium, NAC, and methylated b vitamins (I have a mthfr mutation, single allele) my mood, motivation and give a f#$& are rather low. I am trying to improve this. Overall, my diet isnt terrible, but rather... Healthy with a decent amount of terrible mixed in. I eat a whopping dose of sugar and carbs daily but have kept myself off 'my 600 pound life' thanks to my love of fruits and veg, and dislike of fast food. Any tips for motivation, nutrition, hormones is greatly appreciated. I have been pretty healthy and fit my whole adult life (lots of weights and gym) except for recently (second kid was a doozy, and no one slept for 3 years) . I tend to use the home gym and weights a lot in the cold, long, Canadian winter. I can lift a decent amount with my arms and can easily throw up over 200 lbs in a hip trust.Everything else is weak. Currently, I get most of my exercise from building, renovating, chasing my kids, and walking. On a random note. I've been diagnosed with ASD. Everyone I've told has say the same thing. You're too *smart* well spoken * pretty * friendly * social*normal* to have autism. But here I am. I have a lot of the physical issues that go along with it (POTS, digestive issues, joint hypermobility, skin issues, hyper and hypo sensitivity from body temp regulation to pain from standing it sitting, and life long sleep issues. I can dislocate my hips at will, bend in pretty much any position and put my feet behind my head. I also have pmdd, and seem extra sensitive to hormonal changes. Maybe that's why I bloated do bad on steroids? Would love to hear from any other ASD'ers!

@Canadian123 great that you started this, well done.

You dont have to go to the gym to workout, we can set up a 10 min training HIIT at home per day.

Lets start with your diet, please post your meal foods and what you eat and when you eat it, so we can see it.
If you don't log what you eat now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

also a before picture with face blurred is a good start

dont worry we are not here to judge you, we will do our best to guide you into the best shape and results of your life

Regardless of if the Anavar was fake or not it doesn't help if your not on a diet and working out. The idea of steroids is that they help maintain muscle in a caloric deficit and build muscle when properly working out in a caloric surplus. The steroid itself does nothing to your weight, the diet is your weight. Yes all the fancy diets out there can make you loose weight, but if it isn't something sustainable you will end up yo-yo dieting at best. Whay you need is a lifestyle change with your diet. These are small incremental steps to get you on a healthy path forward, but each step is something you can maintain indefinitely. Workouts need to be consistent. If you can only do one day a week right now that is fine, but do it consistently. Unfortunately most people don't like the long path to weight loss and want to see results now. If you do a diet that is not maintainable then you need a plan once the diet is over that is.

I will start a food log. I will ask my surgeon if I am cleared for hiit type training yet.

While I agree I should have had a cleaner diet, again I did this due to a surgical injury/wound and am still not cleared for exercise or lifting anything for 5 pounds. (last surgery was July 5, less than 5 weeks ago) So working out, besides walking and basic life required movement wasn't really an option. You are totally right with the diet things. I've done a number of them and never can maintain consistency. I am going to make a food log and see where my deficiencies are as to why I struggle so much with sugar. My guess is my protein intake is way too low.

And just so you don't think I was a total slug while on var, I did want to post a few of my fit bit dailies. I move a lot and do a lot of elevation as our property is really steep.

Ok here is the food for the day and my fit bit total for today. Tomorrow I am going to reduce the sugar (I bought some better choices at the grocery store today)

Question. Am I eating enough? I seriously thought I would be well over 2500 calories. I ate so much meat! (I f#$&ING hate meat, I was vegan for a bit and never got my taste for meat back) I am surprised I was only 1568 cals? Is my sugar craving from a lack of food?

Thanks for all the support🥹 I am trying to be brave and take some pics and post.

Not ideal.

Not sure if this went thru so I will post again.

@Canadian123 a few things
can you make your morning meal start at 10am not 930?
and your evening last meal of the day you have 7:30 or 7 I see, can you push that down to 6pm?
this way your fasting window increases helping the body restore itself in the fast period

i dont see any probiotics or digestive enzymes or psyllium husk, are you taking that?

I have been meditating for years 😊 yoga or Pilates? With my joint hypermobility I've always struggled with yoga.
you need to do the right yoga for YOU based on your condition. call up a yoga studio and tell them your condition and they will recommend a class or location that is best.

No, why would I need digestive enzymes? Shouldn't my body make those itself? I didn't realize digestive enzymes were necessary?

I will add some probiotics. I find the laxative properties of magnesium makes me not need metamucil. Metamucil give some terrible stomach cramps also.

@Canadian123

digestive enzymes: In theory you should produce all, but our food and environment is so different now than 1000s of years ago (think hand washing) that the body needs digestive help
probiotics: add both regular 100billion and add spore based probiotics
fiber: yes magnesium has laxative properties but that means you take too much. Not healthy to have a higher dose than body can handle.
If psyllium husk is making your bloated, it means your digestion needs work.

@Canadian123 what kind of protein shake you drinking? and how much 20 grams 10 grams etc?

and for breakfast you should add 1/2 avocado to get healthy fats up

Also... I am still only 6 weeks post hemmy surgery. Doc says the magnesium is a must. I will attempt to add a little metamucil. Where do I get these digestive enzymes? What type? My dad is on enzymes, creon. But he also has pancreatic cancer and is missing half his pancreas and 18 inches of his bowel.
@Canadian123 what kind of protein shake you drinking? and how much 20 grams 10 grams etc?

and for breakfast you should add 1/2 avocado to get healthy fats up
Diesel protein powder 24 protein 4 carbs 1 fat.

Will add avacado in the am 😊

111 protein 164 carbs 70 fat 1734 calories 11, 200 steps 71 floors. (tons of elevation up and down the lake property hill)
930 cottage cheese with radish
Snack at 3pm High protein greek yogurt with Berries and Walnuts
Noon Donair - small, extra meat
Dinner (at little kids bday party) Protein bar, mini Cupcake. Water melon
8pm high protein homemade chili
7 chocolate almonds

Examples! I am having a hard time finding good proteins when I struggle to eat meat. What should I be eating? What are your staples?
stay away from processed and fake foods

good proteins would be nice quality eggs, bad proteins would be processed meats. all the guys on here steve, mobster, bodymonster, etc talk about this all the time. bodymonster is a beast cause he eats all the fresh food off his ranch, he never shops at the supermarket for his food. its all home grown. make sense?

why do you need cupcakes, protein bars, chocolate almonds,?

swap in veggies instead. i don't see a single veggie in your diet (aside from chili) and it is not good. green veggies are important

Hi, sorry for the lack of updates. We were on holidays and had a family emergency.

I haven't been tracking but trying to keep up the higher protein and less carbs. I start Bootcamp tomorrow, doc said take it easy and stop if my body hurts, but some weights and movement shouldn't do any damage.

I got a thyroid panel done and my free t4 is low. Should I be taking hormone for that? My doc, who is very, very overweight (like 40+ bmi) says no. My tsh is fine and that all he looks at.

@Canadian123 can you start tracking again and share with us please we are waiting

and we cant say you should be taking hormones like T4 or T3 until you get the log back. If you trust your doctor do it but if you trust your body start the log back up again and lets see if you need it.

you need to seek additional opinions. never go by 1 doctor who sounds like he is a joke. find a good one
