All I took from his post was he's tired of seeing it promoted all over the place. He sucks with wording sometimes but I agree with his point for the most part.

Right, but you know it's being shoved in your face for a reason, right? For the exact same reason you listed above, because they are treated like less.

I want all my gay friends to be able to have the right to get married and have subsequent divorces just like the rest of us. I don't think anyone's sexuality, whatever it is, needs to be shoved in our faces, but til they have that...I get it, and I'm fine with it. It *is* necessary.

Plus, gay divorce court will be too fabulous to miss, guys.

See, I simply disagree on the issue fundamentally.

Reason being is that I am morally opposed to homosexuality on all levels, so shoving immorality into my face and liberal society telling me I'm a horrible person if I don't accept and praise their gayness is steaming bullshit and that's what I don't tolerate.

Not intolerant but perhaps unrealistic, especially once they get to school, which is why starting the strong foundation early and at home is so important. Whatever your beliefs are.
 
I took my son to the gay pride parade a couple years ago. Lots of butch women and men in glitter and booty shorts. He hated every minute of it but is tolerant and honestly could care less now.

off topic but, they took the butter and salt away from our school cafeteria and added chick peas to the kid's salads, because mrs obama thinks that it's school food that is making kids fat...it's not the doritos and pepsi they are dumping in their heads after school while they're playing video games...outcome?? the trash hopper outside the school cafeteria is full of unbuttered/unsalted vegetables and salads with fucking chick peas...congrats, michelle...fucking retard.

I know society/peers will influence them but it's not unrealistic to think we can actually teach them the basics of right and wrong ourselves. A teacher has no business talking to kids about sexuality either, imo.

I'll be doing the same on the Blackwater. Was up in your neck of the woods for my 30th HS reunion a week and a half ago. Had too many irons in the fire to look you up! Had a really good dinner at Pier 87 and tossed a bunch back at the Brickyard.

Also did a cruise with my Fiance' on the Hiawatha...
