No, it's not a thread fail. People are uncomfortable. It's a situation where an entire frigging continent is a clusterfuck. You've got the whole "oooooh, we made Africans slaves" vs "Holy Shit, WTF is WRONG with you people!?!" (considering that one of the common beliefs on that continent is that fucking a virgin cures AIDS) combined with the tinpot dictatorships ... the continent (you can't call it a country, it's too fractured) is a mess economically, ecologically, socially.

These people burn suspected witches, for heaven's sake! And I'm talking children, under the age of 10! The continent is rife with violence, superstition, insularity. No better than their ancestors who were selling rivaling tribes to the slave traders. A continent willing to cut it's own brothers throat.

I think like 3 major religions have been fighting a proxy war there for centuries now. If the joos could gain some traction there all the Abrahams would be covered. The place is fugged. MM is right about the burning of witches there, it's horrific. Both the muslim and Christian sides do it. what really needs to happen though is for you to curb your obsession with me. I think I'm literally all you ever talk about and have been talking about for like 3 years now.
