I think as a conglomerate we tend to want to be oversimplified in our collective approach when dwelling upon issues of universal interest and contention. However, that being said I whole heartedly believe in the power of unified action on a national and even global levels, especially considering both the intrinsic and extrinsic ramifications of eliminating debate. One merely has to refer to history, both recent and in such times that more abhorrent forms of justice were the norm in societies that eerily mirror own own current state of affairs in order to be able to inappropriate the resources available to use both human and material. It would seem that progress is not being made as quick as technological advances. We look for external technical marvels when indeed it is the human mind that has the most potential for advance. Is this by design?
