Ketogenic
I was thinking about doing a ketogenic diet.. I'm doing a moderate fat/ high protein/ low carb diet now but after reading tons of articles on the benefits of keto, I wanted to see how other people feel about it and the results they've gotten from it
low carb will melt fat like nothing else but it comes with a price, MUSCLE LOSS, unless you're on gear.. My approach is carb cycling, nothing even compares to it in terms of fat loss and maintaining or even gaining muscle, with carb cycling your body will not get used to insulin, so your insulin sensitivity will be high since you cycle carbs, its very effective but its hard to keep up with, and you have to be very accurate or else it wont work.
I definitely agree with you on the muscle loss factor. I'm currently taking test e tren e and var so i think the high fat diet is the way to go while on gear! I never tried carb cycling before.. Im guessing its how you take a certain amount of carbs on on days and off days you take in double then what your used to?
Intermittent fasting is the way to go for fatloss and recomp.

^Exactly what I do for both of those goals. Works beautifully
artificial sweetners trick your body into producing insulin... and aspartame is a bad chemical anyways
No they don't. My father in law is a diabetic and he can have af sweetners as they have no effect on insulin.

You are confused. Artificial sweeteners have zero impact on insulin, as they have no caloric value. You may be mistaking it for the fact that it can trick the brain into thinking you are consuming sugar, which sometimes makes people crave more of it
The negatives on aspartame were studies done in the 50s and 60s, that were debunked by the entire scientific community a long time ago. Everyone including FDA has deemed aspartame 100% safe to consume
So the sugar free carb free drinks etc arent as bad as everyone thinks..
When it comes to carb cycling - how about I increase my carbs on training days and slightlower on other days?
I agree completely. I'm not a big fan of huge surpluses or defects. Slow and steady wins the raceI eat the same food all year round. I might lower carbs and add cardio but I really don't get the point of doing a bulk where you end up having to struggle and really fight to lose the fat.. seems kinda pointless. I like to have abs all year round
