Ooft nae luck then mate, just watched the Dutch miss about 20 chances to put it in the back of the net. Can't believe the Danish beat them.

I'll be supporting Italy as my mum's Italian & Scotland haven't qualified for a major competition since '98. I'll give the Germans a shout too seeing as I'm a guest in their nation.

Both were poor in that game. For all their possession Spain barely caused a threat, sometimes they need to be more direct. If Portugal have a go and create the amount of chances in the semi's that they have so far in the rest of the tournament Spain could be in big trouble

We're missing Villa more than I expected... but well we have Torres, 4 goals in 2 full seasons with Chelsea... lol

Well, we are in semis, that's the deal. Hopefully England will beat Italy tomorrow... to be honest the best team in this Euro is Germany and then Spain...

It was inevitable Spain were going to break their cherry against France last night, the French have been mediocre all competition.

Can't wait for the Italians to pump England tonight & subsequently provide Adrian Chiles & co with a large steaming mug of shut the fuck up.
 
I think the Germany Italy game should be really good.

I enjoyed the England/ Italy game today. Kept me watching!! :)
 
I've realized it's almost impossible to let Italy out of a competition... it doesn't matter if they play well or with the "catenaccio" (ultra-defensively)... if they have one chance, they score...
If Spain reach the final, I think I prefer Germany (for me the best team at this moment) instead of Italy...

I found a big screen in the hospital cafeteria so watched the first half there and was able to get some streaming vid on my computer...just couldn't have sound.

i got them to turn on the Italy-Germany game in the waiting room of my doctor's office yesterday. Only to see Italy score twice. sadfrog.jpg
 
Well finally Spain-Italy....................
Spain could make history if win its third final in a row... no one did it before... only Germany has reached three finals in a row, but lost the last one...
 
Well to be fair Italian coach Cesare Prandelli took Italy further than most expected tbh - the Azzurri lost their 3 games prior to the competition & it's not the most talented generation.

Just goes to show Spain are still in a class of their own, virtually every position - goal, defence, midfield & forwards - fielding a world class player.
