Looking for guidance with Anavar cycle

I'm a very fit woman . Have been religiously weight training for over 2 years . Have done well competing. I've been approached about trying an Anavar cycle . I have done lots of research . Am looking to hear from women who have done a cycle . And hear the outcome. I fully understand all bodies are different and react differently . I am 5'5 and 120 lbs . Last time my body fat % was checked it was about 11% . I'm new to this site. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated :)
 
I have done one full cycle and currently 7 weeks into my second. I have loved the results and personally have not had any sides. What are your bodybuilding goals? That alone should be your biggest determining factor on if you should run Var.

Thanks :) glad to be here . I want to gain more muscle . May I ask what dosage you used ? And did you do twice a day or once daily ? Is every other day an option ? I've found lots of info . But not the answers to these particular questions . I realize everyone will react differently of course .

By the fact you have competed before to me says enough. If you want to gain more muscle I think anavar is great...at least for me. I did a lot of research prior to doing my first cycle but I started out at 5mg twice daily. To me this was a nice dosage. I saw strength gains and some extra size nothing crazy. The reason for the twice a day dose is because of the half life anavar has. If you have a normal schedule take it 12 hours apart. I am not so sure on the EOD but I would think you would get better results having it in your system consistently instead of one dose then skipping. My second cycle on the other hand has been 10mg twice daily. This I believe is my personal sweet spot. Are you considering EOD as an option?

start out for sure at 2.5mg twice a day and maybe slowly increase. I could never tolerate up to 10mg a day...and we are built similar
 
EOD was mentioned . But like you say . It seems to make more sense to have a consistent dose in you're system . I have read about starting low then increasing then lowering at the end ?? How long should a cycle be ? I've read from 6-8 weeks . And some even longer ??
 
Starting low is a good idea but there is no need to increase then decrease at the end. The best way to dose IMO is to stay with one dosage for the duration. If nothing effects you negatively or you want more you can always increase your next cycle. The 2.5 that Island Coconut said is probably a good starting point for someone of your size. I went against the recommendation of 2.5mg because I felt confident it wouldn't bother me negatively. I am by no means telling you to do the doses I did or am currently doing. My first cycle was 8 weeks, and this cycle I will probably run 12 weeks.

Few more questions . Does it matter when during the day you take it ? Is it best with food or without ? Bcuz of my work schedule I don't train at the same time everyday . Do I need to change anything in my nutrition ? I'm following pretty closely one I used to get ready for a show . Thanks again !!

My answers are based on what others here have told me to do... I split my 10mg dose, 5@breakfast and 5@ preworkout meal.

The only dietary change I've made was cleaning up my diet but that is more bc I'm training for my first show, not bc of the var specifically (although eating like crap would venture the var useless anyway. Lol).

Some suggest taking milk thistle for liver support. I don't bother. The dose is so low that I'm not worried about it.

im thinking of running anavar also, im just a bit affraid of ANY sides....i did some winny and primo when i was in my 20s and didnt like the sides AT ALL so i went natural, i competed for 5 yeras and now i just like to look like i do LOL.....now im 37 ( still in awsome shape) and thinking of starting a run or 2 of anavar and some HGH...
btw im 5 10 , 160 and approx 17% bf ( its winter lol)
any input or thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
 
Hey. In my honest opinion if you encountered sides before and felt so strongly about them I think you done the right thing in going it natty I'm wondering why change that now as of you've had the sides that normally means there always going to be there, I knew what I was getting into with sides etc but I chose to still go ahead because I felt so strongly about wanting to work at my goals and always move the goal posts to achieve different goals it gives me something to focus on. But now my voice has deepened and off cycle slightly gets better but only slightly , also I have no period which for me is only the health issue that's worrying so every now and again I will stop cycles to regulate my period, I don't worry about the affects of child birth as I won't be having kids in sure of that. But with you that could be different. I just wanted to share my experiences with you and hope this helps with your decision.

Figurechamp ! Yes all info is helpful !! I don't even know how to post pics lol so I won't be able to "show" how well everyone's help ended up. I took my first dose today . Am excited to see how it ends :) thanks to everyone ! Truly !! Everyone is so nice on here !
 
I am 52 .... have been training 3 days a week with my husband who is a power lifter as well as body builder for 2 years now. I have lost 35 pounds and feel great ! Almost five weeks ago I started my first cycle of Anavar,
Just want to lose a little more body fat and see more definition. I was taking one single dose of 10 mg a day for about 4 1/2 wks and have doubled the dose for the past few days.
there have been no side effects :) my body is changing :) I am definitely stronger :)
I see that some of you take two applications daily.....is that something I should be doing and if so why?

The reason for the split dosage is to keep anavar in your system. It's half life is around 12 hours so everyone recommends you split the dosage 12 hours apart.

Your absolutely right Donna... the old saying "if its not broke dont fix it" LOL I just know that anavar will get me lean and hard, i do NOT need any more muscle for sure!!! Im starting the HGH for fat loss and the all around "youthful" benefits of it. Im 37 but seriously still look like im in my late 20s BUT i want to stay that way as long as pos....im sure its due to my healrhy lifestyle and stellar genatics and im sure one day my age will creep up and show itself but if GH can slow that down id be a very very happy girl :):)

I am considering taking anavar for the first time as well. In the midst of my research..does the timing of taking the dosages make a difference as far as pre or post workout or morning/afternoon/evening due to liver filtration detox being higher at night? Thanks so much!
