Test Enanthate-First Cycle

pince

New member
I have recently been taking Test E at 250 for about 4 weeks. I am starting to see some slow gains and I already feel better in the gym. I have been working out hard about 6 -7 years and competing powerlifting here and there as well. I am hearing a lot about water weight and I honestly would like to get bigger and leaner. I love making strength gains in the gym but I cant help but think that I can make those gains while improving my look. I know diet is a huge part of taking a cycle and maintaining a great body. I would like some feed back on a couple things... I would like some simple diet advice as I am very very busy and I am considering adding some Masteron to my cycle in a couple weeks. Will it be ok to add Mast the last 4 weeks? Does any one know of a easy diet plan that I can incorporate into my busy lifestyle?

I am 6ft 1 220lbs. I work out about 4-5 days a week hitting squats one day, deadlifts another day, and bench twice weekly. I throw some shoulders in on one of the bench days.

My max raw lifts are as follows.

Bench 345, Squat 435, Deadlift 515.

Thanks for any one who has advice. I am totally new to this and would like to know more experience from those who have been there before. Thanks again

Either way the test enanthate is a long ester, some prefer twice a week injects for more stable blood levels, but one a week is fine also, Don't waste money running masterdon the last 4 weeks unless it Masterdon ace, the longer esters need at least 10 weeks to do the job right!

You should really have your diet down before starting a cycle.....it would be better if you posted what you're eating now.......also, I'm a little confused as to what your goals are....

My honest answer is that I have no diet, i simply eat whatever is put in front of me as I am constantly bouncing around from here to there and I would like to start eating healthier, more often, and cleaner meals. I was thinking that taking the mast would help to lean up and avoid the water weight that I might gain along with the test. I have only been taking 250 once per week and will likely bump it up to two times a week to make a total of 500 per week. I am thinking I will start to gain the water weight as I increase the dosage. I am about to start week 5 today on the test. I have been hitting the gym har, taking in lots of water and even doing some cardio a couple days a week to help combat too much water weight. If I can lean up the last few weeks of the cycle I would really like to do that and was thinking about getting the mast this upcoming week. I will be unable to take my gear with me on a vacation due to getting on a plane and it is probably not a great idea to bring that on the plane, or into the airport. So I would have to wait untill the last four weeks to start the mast. My goal is to gain a moderate size and strength gain in the gym and in front of the mirror. I have researched a bunch and the diet is my weakness and I kind of jumped into the cycle a bit early without wokring the diet part out. I am starting to see some gains in the gym this week and it is fantastic! But I am worried now that I want to increase the dose as to putting on that ugly weight. Eventually I would like to run another cycle and have the diet worked out and planned for along with having some rock hard gains and muscle. Money is a factor and I have been told to run the test with mast as it will give me a leaner look.

I dunno I guess it was dumb to put off the diet portion this long as I know that is the most important part along with hard training. I know I love the results I am seeing as far as being under the bar in the gym but I want to look a little better as well...

Thanks

There is no magic pill, i wish you guys would get that!

You really need to get your nutrition in order. No drugs will make you look leaner unless you are leaner. You can only get leaner by dieting down/burning more calories etc. To make good gains your cycle you will have to overeat. If you want to do a recomp cycle, where you gain muscle more slowly whilst losing fat you really need a longer cycle for this and it requires a well detailed nutrition program. If you are not even tracking your approximate calories in and calories out daily you can almost certain expect such a goal to completely fail.

Masterone is fairly useless imo for anyone who isn't well into single digit bf%. If you are not lean enough to see good muscle detail you will not be able to see the additional hardness. If cost is an issue, this drug should not even be one of your options.

I would not use the mast just stick with test at 500 mgs a week. Its not like your gonna gain 50lbs of water so I wouldnt worry to much about that. By now you realize diet is key to being ripped so if thats a goal then fix it.

Some tough love here....and this is not me being mean it's just me helping you

You're going about this in an extermely irresponsible way; no diet? and trying to add more AAS is NOT the right answer...

You're not wanting to gain the wrong wait yet you JUST started doing cardio...a good test cycle can work wonders if done the right way....

Do you have a PCT?

I wish I had watched my diet a little better in the past . . . otherwise, AAS is a waste of money IMO.

You should do 2 shots a week because 250mg wont do too much an if your worried about water weight, throw some winstrol in at the end of the cycle to lean out your gains.

I will be getting some whinny tomorrow. All I can get is injectable but I'm hoping that will go good. I'm starting to eat better now and will be monitoring my intake from now on along with hard training and cardio. I got some nolvadex for pct and got about 7 weeks left on cycle at 500 a week. It's gonna go great from here on out and the irresponsibility ends now. Thanks everyone for your help

First off, how old are you?
Do you have any idea what your body fat % is?

Your diet is the most important factor because on you want best posible gains and when you come off you don't want to turn into a fat turd.
Post up what you doing now to improve your diet and lets get you the help you need.

I'm 30 yrs old. 220lbs. I'm gonna have to do some grocery shopping and precooking I think and some research on my calorie intake. Today I ate oatmeal and three eggs for breakfast. A protien shake and cottake cheese for a meal at ten. Gonna be buying chicken, white rice salmon. And vegetables today.... Lots of it too. Idk I'm slowly but surely gonna be experimenting combinations of better meals. I'm getting the idea that its gonna be harder than training itself along with managing family and work life.

Pain is temporary, glory is forever!

There's no way you're 10% BF...

Read the PCT stickie in the PCT forum "Best PCT of 2010" and follow it for PCT.....or the link in stevesmi's sig....

All I can tell you is what the scale that calculates body fat says. I have no other eat to determine it. I have been hitting the gym hard for many years but maybe I'm way off. Idk. I'm open to criticism. It's cool. I obviously need it.

The scale you stand on? LOL
Those don't work. You need to go to a dunk tank or at minimum get calipered.

So 10 percent your whole 6 pack must be very visible with vascularity

if your at 10% I wouldnt wanna lean up anymore partner, might as well get bigger, throw some anadrol in there last 4 weeks an up that test to 750 week. I'd be takin the nolva now.... jus an idea... oh an eat bout 5 times a day if possible

Well then I have no idea actual percentage. Idk where to find the calipers. Small town man. I'll check around though.

I'm gonna up my dose to 500 possibly add whinny last 4 weeks. I'm doing 12 wks and just started wk 5. Lifts are increasing and started diet modification today.

Thanks again

You can buy a caliper off the net for cheap. If your 10% then you should have a visible 6 pack with good vascularity throughout your body at all times. Either way at least your making the effort to turn it around and as long as you continue to eat clean and train hard youll get shredded. As long as you stay focused and determined anything is possible.

So what is the general opinion about addind whinny or mast? Is there a big difference? Is test only the best bet? I gotta make a decision this week is why i am persistant on this.

I like winny at the end of a cycle to harden up gains, and keep something in your system while the injectables taper off, so that you can clear your system fast and get your PCT going without continued htpa suppression.

I like that idea, please get your diet in order tho ,it's not that hard.

Let me tell you a little about BF scales. Like folks said, they are NOT a good indication of what your actual BF is. There are too many factors involved for it to be consistent and accurate, including your sex, BF, muscularity, hydration, time of day, last time you exercised, etc (and those are all real factors that are easy for anyone to verify.

BUT . . . what a BF scale is VERY good for is comparison. Measure your BF on the scale at the same time every day, and try to make it under the same circumstances (ex hydration level). For me what works best is measure just after I wake up in the morning, and I do this routine. This is a good way to measure progress or digression in your BF goals. Very effective, easy, and motivating. The more measurements you have, the more accurate the comparison will be.

I find the BF scale indispensable, but to get a real, no BS measurement, you need the "dunk tank" or DEXA. The dunk tank measures via water displacement, etc, and is extremely accurate. About $40 there. DEXA is equally accurate, but it is only done in a medical office (that I've seen), and it can run $100-150. DEXA is definitely an FSA item and you might have some success getting medical insurance to pay for it, reducing the cost.

DEXA is available all the time, while find a consistent location for the dunk tank has been hit and miss for me, as they seem to be mainly mobile.

I would highly recommend getting dunked or DEXAed, and then compare that ASAP to a reading on your BF scale. Doesn't make the BF scale any more accurate, but you'll have an idea of the correction that needs to be applied.

I appreciate that. I'll maybe just worry about how I look as I can't find a dunk tank and I don't really wanna go in to the doc for that. I just wanna post what I ate yesterday and get opinions. I don't think its perfect but I'm thinkin its better than burger king. 730am oatmeal, coffee. 10am chicken rice and protein shake, 12pm cold ham turkey roast beef sand. Carrots and green veena, 2pm protein shake. Dinner another sand. Today I had oatmeal and coffee, 4 whole eggs and protien shake. Tuna sub sandwich for lunch, plain tuna at 2pm and spaghetti for dinner. Cottage cheese at 7 and yogert with granola just now before bed. All in same order. It's not perfect I know but its the best I could do before groceries. Lol. It's better than it has been that's for sure.

Thanks everyone

You need more than oates for breakfast. Throw in a omelet made of eggs 4 whites and 2 whole. You can also do turkey bacon with it. If your gonna do spaghetti get whole grain pasta and sodium free organic sauce. Try to stay away from lunch meats there often loaded with sodium and fat. Tuna is good but too much can give you mercury poisoning. I know its cheap but I have had a friend go to the hospital for eating too much of it so be careful. All your meats and veggies should be fresh and if you can afford it go with organic.
