Williams College beats out Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, West Point, M.I.T., ...

no one looks at forbes for college rankings, or even cares what they have to say. Their metrics used in selection are garbage and just used to go against the grain. Otherwise they'd just be regurgitating what USnews says(the best resource for college rankings, and probably what an actual HR person/recruiter will actually be in line with)

"Unlike other lists, we pointedly ignore ephemeral measures such as school “reputation” and ill-conceived metrics that reward wasteful spending"

all you have to do is look at that list. it's full of bullshit liberal arts schools that outnumber much higher respected institutions

i'm sure Stone Cold University is in there somewhere

In other news, Cooley beats out Yale, Stanford in law school rankings: http://www.cooley.edu/rankings/_docs/Judging_12th_Ed_2010.pdf

FYI: Nobody gives a shit about rankings outside of USNWR.

But yeah, I picked up that mag when waiting for a prescription last month. The rankings were a fucking joke. There was this one shit school that was at the top of like all the categories that obviously paid to get pushed.

Also, LACs are generally shit.

:cow:

2011 List of America's Top Colleges - ABC News

For the second year in a row, Williams College, a small, western-Massachusetts liberal arts school, has been named as the best undergraduate institution in America. With total annual costs adding up to nearly $55,000, a Williams education is certainly not cheap, but the 2,000 undergraduates here have among the highest four-year graduation rates in the country, win loads of prestigious national awards like Rhodes and Marshall Scholarships, and are often rewarded with high-paying careers.

so i dismissed your crappy thread and all you did was post the same set of rankings, just from a news site reporting those same rankings?
