Whey concentrate vs. Isolate

If you are lactose intolerant it's definitely worth paying the extra money. Also, if you really need to stay away from lactose(when dieting) it's also worthwhile. If you're on a normal diet or not lactose intolerant go with the concentrate IMO.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of milk protein isolate but I'm also lactose intolerant.
 
Right, it depends upon your needs. I use an MKD for cutting, thus whey isolate is a must. Concentrate contains too much lactose. For most people concentrate is appropriate, considering the cost difference. You can aquire any type of protien you need much cheaper than any store at www.protienfactory.com they will custom make batchs of bulk protien to meet your needs, and they are extremely cost effective.
 
Like the other guys said, isolate is good if you cannot tolerate the concentrate due to the lactose content, or if you are concerned about the carbohyrate content.

If you are not woried about the lactose, concentrate is a better option as its alot cheaper, plus it has more growth factors etc than isolate.
 
Dunno about you guys but I have been using Concentrate for 7 months .
I did a ketogenic diet using it for 300g of protein a day and I went in to ketosis (as measured by ketostix), so what is the carb content?

whey isolate will release into bloodstream much faster than any other whey except for cfm whey.

thats why its the ideal choice for pre and post workouts.

whey concentrate is a decent choice for any other time of the day but id go wýth egg<mýlk<cassein over concentrate any day!
