I do see the logic behind the 2x2x2 system, but there are several things that I do not agree with. Firstly, although this system may work for shorter acting anabolics like orals and water based injectibles, it is illogical for drugs that are longer acting, like oil based injects.
These drugs stay in the system for more than 2 weeks, and will continue to down-regulate androgen receptors during that period. It is not as if one's receptors start upregulating the instant he/she takes his/her last injection. Therefore, in order for the logic to work, you'd probably want something like 2 weeks on, 5 weeks off.
Also, where is the evidence that down-regulation occurs within 2 weeks? During my usual 8 to 12 weeks cycles, I'd be the first to admit that the results at the end of the cylce are not nearly as impressive as the beggining, but 2 weeks seem a little short. So, if you make you short boosts a little longer, say 4 to 5 weeks, we end up with say 5 weeks on, 5 weeks off.
Which brings us almost full circle to the old fashioned way of doing things. But talk is cheap. I'd shut up when I see resluts and the 2x2x2 seems worth a try if nothing else. Has anyone here actually tried it?
