: The main problem would be, whether or not you declaired that you posessed a scheduled substance before attempting to 'cross the border.' If you hid your items and tried to smuggle the drugs in, then you 'deserve' to be caught and arrested/fined/whatever. If you say, before you try to enter the country, "I have perscribed drugs, please let me in," then the worst they can say is, "You have to leave the drugs behind."
: Would that person just have his stuff taken away and set free. Would they be detained? Arrested? If you have a legitimate perscription from a Mexican Dr. would that make a difference in the legal treatment of such an individual? Also, anyone can answer and not just the DEA because I know those guys aren't going to tell us what's up. The more we know the truth about things, the more likely we are to think they suck even more. Let's say I have a perscription and try the "I have perscribed drugs, please let me in" plan. What are the chances that a person would be able to keep their medecine? Also, what do people think of this scenario. I come to the border, and claim my three bottles of tequila and my perscription for Clenbuterol along with my box of Clenbuterol tabs. Let's say they take away my Clenbuterol. Let's also say that I have some hidden Laurabolin that I didn't claim. Because I claimed the other stuff, would my chances of getting the Laurabolin across the border increase? ANARCHY!!
