The Dr. is right-on about amino-acid supplementation increasing lean mass. After one of my early cycles I supplemented with 10gm of Arginine HCL, 15gm pg Glycine (amino-acetic acid), and 5gm of OKG per day, and I noticed some definite gains when I wasn't expecting any. I would get up every 2 hours during the night and took them in the order listed. It's a pain in the as, but it works.
