If I remember correctly, lasix (oral) is only active for 6 hours after you take it, so why not just drop carbs a couple days before you weigh in, and then use the lasix 4-6 hours before you step on the scale. Immediately after the weigh in start taking a carbohydrate drink every two hours to replenish liquid/glycogen and you should blow-up. If you need more of an edge than this, then you're probably going to lose anyway. But, please don't play witrh insulin, and if you do then use small amounts and have fast-acting carbs (like glucose tabs) nearby.
: I'm a college wrestler. We cut weight, BIG-TIME! Over 15%-%18 of our bodyweight in one day, sometimes. I am seeking info on diuretics to help me achieve this weight loss more easily. Even more importantly, I'm seeking info on how to replenish my drained body so I'll be at a peak weight and performance level in order to gain an edge on my competition. Ideas I've come up with so far to replace my lost fluid and glycogen are insulin to go along with an IV bag, creatine, and lots of water and glucose. Any suggestions on how to go from "wasted" and energyless to "huge" and amped in less than 30 hours?
