As an athlete, I'm into them to give me that advantage over my opponents. Personally, I think it would be kind of neat to be one of those 185 lb guys whose knees don't creak when they get out of bed and don't have to turn sideways when they walk through stores. You can't tell me that steroid use in the NFL, etc are "just for cosmetic reasons to make Nate Newton's body just a little better." It's done for the size and strength advantage that helps you excel at sports. Personally, I think if someone is doing it just to look better, that's kind of vain. But, I'm not condemning it, to each their own. My point was that if everyone had easy access, it would push usage and abuse to new levels. Peace.
