Well, if you are going to send something, don't use
fed-ex, u.p.s., etc. Stick to plain old snail mail.
I know the suspense sucks while waiting for it but
that is the best and safest way.
Remember, nothing is 100% safe. Nothing is fool proof.
That is the best method for your question and yes,
keep it smaller to avoid "sticking out".
If he's never done it before, just make sure he uses
some intelligence in wrapping, etc.
I once had a parcel come to my door where you could
not even read my address on the front because the marker
used in writing it rubbed off from moisture/handling.
It was delivered to a house a few blocks away and
the guy there took the time to decipher the withered
address and bring it to me! Thanks Canada Post.
He is correct in saying they're rarely inspected but
that 1 in a million could be yours.
Don't send a whole pile of stuff in any one package.
Split them up into a few different ones so if one
doesn't make it, others probably will and you won't
be out altogether.
Happy mailing.
