Hi Atldude: Lou & Deca both are giving you some good
advice. I agree with them completely. 45 min. to one
hour is the perfect time frame to complete a workout.
Mine never exceed that. They used to but I am much
better now (more ripped, bigger) than when I used to
instinctively train for 1 1/2 hrs a session.
Your natural g.h. levels expire after 45 min. of
heavy training. Intensity is the key to this. Go
mental for the 45 min. so you can't go on. Bingo!
You've just thoughroughly worked your muscles to the
max. Result: growth, better quality muscle, definition.
My workouts are 3 X per week! Feels good to get to
enjoy life outside the gym and like I said I look
best with this system.
The mental barrier was the most difficult to break
in the regard that we're conditioned to think that
more is better. That's not always the case though.
Just like when I read your post, you seemed apologetic
your workouts were not longer.
Don't change that part. Just make your time there
as efficient as you can.
Happy training.
