: : Well, I've been getting nice gains for the last few years and
: : I thought I "knew it all" about lifting, but now I am forced
: : to ask a question: How the hell do you make your lats longer ??
: : My lats seem to be short - i.e. they start out from way above
: : the waistline. What is a good way (or is there any) to
: : elongate them ?
: : My back routine is as follows (please bear with me!)
: : Chin-ups (4)
: : Bar Rows (3)
: : Dumbbell Pullovers (2)
: : Deadlifts (4)
: : Low Pulley Rows (2)
: : This hits pretty much all of it. My upper back is good, but lower
: : lats are "missing" . So what's missing from my routine ?
: : Nothing seems to help save the d-bol :)
: : Thanks for your help!

: Hey Mitch-
: What grips do you use on rows and chins- underhand,
: overhand, wide, narrow etc and where do you pull the
: bar to on rows high (chest) or low (waist)? Do you
: vary the grips or keep pretty much the same?
: AJ
I only use overhand grips on everything. Medium
width grip (about two inches wider than shoulder width)
I tried using underhand grip for rows, but I
can't handle as much weight then... And I consider
rows a power/strength exercise so I try to
max it out on weight.
Thanks, dude!
