À une coupe très 290 livres, Batista is one of the biggest and most ripped wrestlers of all time. Over the past few years, he has done plenty of MMA training, but had insisted that it was only for fun. toutefois, that all changed after his retirement from pro wrestling; Batista retired because of his age (41), and a desire to spend more time with his family along with less time traveling.
He's been hitting the gym a lot more upon retiring, and he'll need it because Batista has no extensive MMA training under his belt. The most fighting that Batista did was as a juvenile when he was raised in a tough upbringing. This is before he got into bodybuilding, which Batista credits with changing his life.
It's tough to say how Batista will do in Strikeforce, but he can only hope to do as well as fellow WWE-turned-MMA fighter Bobby Lashley has done. Lashley is one of the best young heavyweight prospects in the UFC right now.
toutefois, considering his age and lack of experience, it will be tough for Batista to match what Lashley has done up to this point.
