I hear bodybuilders complain in the gym all the time. They complain about others hogging machines, people not wiping equipment down properly, and those who refuse to wear deodorant. And I'll be the first to admit that I am guilty of whining about all of this stuff too because....well, it is pretty annoying. But sometimes a story comes along that makes me realize how small the things I worry about really are.
The story of Tyler Carron is definitely something that makes me realize this since Carron has no legs. He lost his legs in an accident when he and a friend tried to help another friend off of the highway. After suffering through a horrific accident and having no legs, most people would have given up on any kind of athletic career. Echter, Carron has decided to put the past behind him and continue on to a bodybuilding career.
The Denver bodybuilder is currently training for his first contest, and has future plans to continue competing. Now I don't know about you, but a story like this is very inspirational. It makes me want to train that much harder in the gym knowing that Carron didn't give up after his accident.
