And the most important aspect of your dress is not the expensive brand name on your shirt or the price tag on the pants at the store but rather how you color coordinate the clothes together.

I know that this may go against the things that you’ve often been told about just needing the hottest brands on the market in order to impress a woman but let’s think about that for a second. If you’re wearing green pants with a purple shirt it’s not going to matter if you are decked out in Armani, you’re going to look like a jackass no matter what.

But most guys don’t have a clue as to how they should match colors together with their clothing. I’ll admit, I used to be in the same boat as the rest of the guys who don’t know how to color-coordinate. To be honest, I didn’t even want to know as the thought of the phrase color-coordination brought to mind some metro-sexual fashion designer with his hands in the air telling me what outfits would look great on me.

Then I actually started seeing some articles pop up on this subject and I really began seeing how effective this type of stuff was at attracting the women. It’s amazing how an inexpensive yet, well-matched outfit can really draw a woman’s attention. Now I’d like to share with you what I’ve learned.

And the first rule of color-coordinating your clothes is that one bold color looks great on your body but two makes you look like a fool. Take this story for example: I knew this kind-of average guy when I was younger who all of the sudden started wearing this sharp-looking bright yellow jacket around with just his regular jeans and a white t-shirt underneath it.

I was shocked at how much extra attention he got from females in this get-up. And all he did to get noticed was buy a bright yellow jacket! Now just think, what if he would have worn an orange, silk shirt under the yellow jacket. Está certo, he would have looked pretty stupid.

The next rule to remember is that layering your clothing colors can look very fashionable. A couple examples of this would be the previously mentioned look of the bright yellow jacket over the plain white t-shirt or, melhor ainda, a solid blue sweater worn over a collared, red, button-up shirt.

Another color standard for player’s to be mindful of is to coordinate your shoes with your outfit. Let’s say that you are going to be wearing a pair of jeans with a bright orange shirt. A pair of tan boots could look okay but a pair of new, white shoes makes both your feet and your body standout out – in a good way. But if you wore those same white shoes with a white t-shirt, then you wouldn’t look too cool. The tan boots would look much better with the white shirt as it breaks up the monotony of your color-scheme.

If you really want to spruce up your wardrobe and you have a few extra dollars to spend then this next color coordination principle will strongly apply to you as well. Consider paying a little more for some of the extravagant colors. I know that I already mentioned this whole thing was about not having to spend lots of money for your clothes but if you purchase something like a Burgundy sweater then make sure that it is not low quality or your whole outfit will end up looking washed-out.

The last thing to keep in mind is that you can use the color of your skin tone as a form of color coordination as well. If you’ve got a dark skin tone, a very bright color should go extremely well with your complexion.
