It always makes me sick to see these 5 and 6-year-olds who are built like a mini Mr. Olympia. Når alt kommer til alt, these kids are already in a massive state of growth, and they don't need their nutrients going to building muscle mass at this age. Selv stadig, there are plenty of horrid stage moms and stage dads who will encourage, or even push their kids to keep lifting as a child. desværre, it seems like this trend continues to grow after looking at several statistics.
After reading an article on the ImperfectParent, one of the statistics that I found really incredible was that gym memberships among kids in the 6-to-11-year-old category have almost doubled since 2005. A more sickening statistic comes from the Columbus Nationwide Children's Hospital, which says that the highest number of Ohio-area fractures and laceration weight injuries come from children under the age of 12.
But these statistics don't seem to be scaring anybody away from the child bodybuilding subject, and so we continue to see more YouTube phenomenons like Giuliano Stroe of Ciuresti, Romania and C.J. Senter of Georgia.
desværre, kids like these are earning money from their youth sports/bodybuilding fame through commercials and endorsements, which only encourages other kids/parents to do the same. And as the world continues to go more viral, I don't think we'll see this trend slow down any time soon.
