Actor Charlie Sheen has been in the news a lot lately for his release from the show Two and a Half Men, and for his spats with the show's producers. Seeing as how he isn't with the show anymore, Sheen has had a lot more time to do interviews lately. And one of the most interesting interviews that I've seen from him is one he did with Sports Illustrated over his steroid usage.
Selvfølgelig, Sheen hasn't been using steroids any time lately - as you can tell from his very average build. Men, the acting star juiced in order to improve his fastball for the 1989 film Major League. And the steroids helped Sheen's fastball in a major way!
He told Sports Illustrated, "Let's just say that I was enhancing my performance a little bit. It was the only time I ever did steroids. I did them for like six or eight weeks. You can print this, I don't give a f**k. My fastball went from 79 (MPH) to like 85."
One other funny tidbit about the movie is that Sheen said he hated the spiky hairdo he had for the movie, and he said, "I didn't like the haircut because it generated so many comments in bars. I've got enough of that already. Add that (steroider) to the mix, and it's a recipe for a fistfight."
