Standing Ab Twist.....

EL GAUCHO

New member
Hey,
All the guys at my gym are going crazy for standing ab-twist with a bar on their shoulders.
Am I mistaken, or is this the biggest waste of time as you're not working against any resistance?

I concur that it's a waste of time.....and also, for some reason, when I see someone doing that, particularly in a squat rack, I get the urge to clothesline them.

Old school bodybuilders used to do them sometimes for high reps using a broomstick. Not everyone concurred that they were useful though some did them regularly. No one used a barbell for the reasons already stated. Ab training theory has changed alot since then but so have desired physique standards.

I execute hard-core ab-swings on the same day that I do finger-curls and toe-curls. It really helps to strengthen my lower-left belly hair, but you have to hold it for 50 seconds in order for it to work.

yea, but if you really want to get RRRRRRIIIIIPPPPPED you've gotta do penis curls and epididymus static squeezes.

oh and you have to make sure you use the sauna slim belt.
