YAY, first one across the pond.

Lower your zoom to see me... Lady Viking, come make me some company

I lived in Frankfurt and some other areas for like 6 years, don't hate all of the soldiers over there! Nothing but the best times of my life. By the way, Ich liebe Ihr Land.

Remind me NOT to arrange an EF gathering in:

MidWest US
Northwestern US
Anywhere in Canada except southern ontario.
Mexico

Very cool site.

The funny thing about that is after looking at the entire make it was Toledo that made me laugh the most. So I don't think so, sorry.

Bahahha poor Pintoca is on the other side of the ocean.

I know people from Mc Lean and Potomac.

The Shadow, do you know anyone by the name of Houghton in Hilton Head?

All I know is I just made a mockery of this map.

Hell yeah, back when I was in the scene more me and my clique hit up MMF and pretty much every metal show at the Rave, back in '97-'01ish. We went to Chicago shows pretty often as well, Satyricon at the House of Blues was supreme. We hit up the Jersey March Metal Meltdown in support of a local band in '01 too, saw Immortal's first US appearance get cut off due to curfew, that was not pretty :worried: . Too bad Metalfest's gone super-downhill; I've heard so much bitching about Jack, but he always seemed cool in person.

You from the Mil-town area? Did you know any of the local bands? LOL, do you know who metal Larry is at the Rave?!?!? lolololol

man, i went around the same time you did. i remember the Eagles Ballroom where it would get so packed, condensation would drip down almost like rain. Billy Milano was the size of a dirgible doing his rendition of "Milk". lol, those were some great times. but yeah, Koshick kept changing formats and venues and the last time i was there, it was almost all vendors selling shit. i haven't seen any local Detroit bands in years, and honestly don't know if there are any good ones around. but man, i can't think of a better concept than 10 or 12 hours of live death metal.

LOL, Eagles' was so hot that my pants were literally soaked after a Slayer concert.

They used to have great vendors, there was always one guy, we called him "the asshole" 'cause he had primo shirts and charged $30-$40 for 'em... but we always hit him up and paid since he had the rarest of the rare that was officially liscensed. LOL, I don't regret paying now, as I did an Ebay auction last spring and pulled $60+ for quite a few shirts. I just wish I didn't sell half of my old Cradle shirts a couple years ago; I've seen the original Vestal Masturbation and Praise the Whore shirts top $100.

My friends still frequent there, seems a beer is like six bucks nowadays, lol. I haven't heard much good since I fell out of the scene...

I love how Jack wanted Manowar for either the '00 or '01 fest, and they declined because they wouldn't be the sole headliner playing, lol. Manowar = best metal band ever. I think that was the same year headliners Marduk pulled out 'cause one of the guys got a bee sting, lmao.

yes, that's why i gave up going, cuz bands were always bailing out, either that or there was some false advertising. i wonder if he knew how big that show was to everyone. people from all over the world used to go to that. i'm sad cuz i missed Sepultura.

Milwaukee Metalfest??

Half of my friends play in metal bands here in LA and have played up there. They definately say it's a lot of un.

it sure was, or is. fuck, for 50-65 bucks, and you see upwards of 200 metal bands in 2 days?? hell yeah. and let me say that Milwaukee is one hell of a nice place. some of the friendliest people i've ever met. even friendly to a Toxic Avenger looking mutherfucker like me. learned a lot about beer there too, on the Miller brewery tour. Mars Cheese Castle rules!

Almost married a girl from Waukesha, still kick my ass about being a total douche bag to her. And that was nearly 20 years ago. I was stationed at Great Mistakes and used to take the shuttle from the Base to the Milwaukee USO, close to where they held Summerfest every year. Oh, and Monica if you are on here, Sorry, I was an asshole.

great map, I just toured the entire world visiting good bros.

Dang, my stupid pin is not only in the wrong zip code, it's in the wrong frapping STATE.

I'm guessing there is a way for the person who registered the map to alter it? Or maybe RG would be willing to share the site PW with admin here? I think the map's a really cute idea. Never expected the geographical representation the map shows, lol.
