OMG I know I am way late on this.. But I just started reading this book and I can't put it down... I lived about 3 blocks away from Carl Karcher for about 2 years... I lived in Anaheim and I knew about the Ku Klux Klan influence.. And I heard about GM buying up the trolleys so that people would have to drive... But OMG!!! this is way worse than I could have ever imagined.. I WILL NEVER EAT FAST FOOD AGAIN... Simply on principal... and what it stands for.. And what it has done to this great nation that everyone including myself has turned a blind eye to.. I can’t believe that I worked for mcdonalds when I was 14 now… I am ashamed to admit that!! I thought the US has been going to shit just in the past few years but it seems that this is years in the making.. God please help us!!

PEOPLE if you haven't read this book go buy it today and start reading it... It will change your life!!!!

Great book. Generally speaking, it breaks down how these fast food places (i.e. McDonald's, Burger King, etc.) run their business. The types of foods they use, etc. Great book to read. HIGHLY recommend.

This book starts off with the ties to the government the corruption etc… How the big businesses have taken over this nation and widen the gap between the rich and the poor. With are loving governments there background supporters. I am OUTRAGED!!!... Boiling for Columbine brought me to tear and this makes me PISSED THE FUCK off!!!

It is okay American’s just keep filling your fat, fucking obese mouths with this shit, believing everything you hear on the television, and ignoring everything by numbing your minds with reality tv and celebrities… Why has are world that has more education then ever before become more dumb… this makes no sense!!

Yep..fast food is evil, it goes beyond the negative health effects.

He is my second favorite Author. If you like Fast Food Nation then Reed his other book Reefer Madness.. really opens your eyes to things going on in this world.
