Pintoca's 6 months Cutting Results...

Well,

After sadly having to change my diet (as discussed in this thread) http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=378315

I now have the results to prove that it is never a good idea to FIX WHAT IS NOT BROKEN!!!

Just to refresh your minds:

My initial stats, as of 13.09.04 were:

264 lbs
40% Body Fat (DAYUMMM)

158,4 lbs LBM
105,6 lbs FAT

After 6 months I am at:

207,7
25,1% BF

155,57 lbs LBM
52,13 lbs FAT

So results after 6 months of straight cutting are

56,3 lbs lighter (about 53,5 lbs FAT and 2,8 lbs LBM)

As usual, you can find the graph of this here:

I am bitching because until now I was pulling a very straight 10 lbs a month... not 6 lbs a month damn it!! The good part of the history is that I've managed to keep my Fat to LBM loss ratio to 80+%

So, in light of this development, I have decided to start with my planned CTS diet RIGHT AWAY (well, not next week but in 10 days, since I am going to the CeBit the whole next week, damn that too). This is the only way I can start the CTS on April 1st @ 200 lbs, 22% BF (which is where I want to be by that time)

Anybody interested in the CTS diet I posted earlier, it's here http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=381640

Before I forget, this is an update to my monthly cutting log http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=375450

great! great great stuff!!!

Hey maing, you may not have lost 10lbs a month, but you still lost a lot, which is very commendable - shit, it's awesome! plus you have learned something that works and doesn't work for you, which is INVALUABLE.

I have to agree on the learning part... Now I know that for me the way to go is cardiothon... The new program I will start will basically take this premise to the limit... Let's see how it goes in a month... (It might backfire and burn a hell of a lot of LBM, by which time I would have learned a new thing also!!!).

I just can't believe I had it 100% right the first time over... Tweaking is a pest!!!

The bitchin came when I realized this month was even worse than the infamous mid-dec mid-Jan period (which was jam-packed with goodies and dinners and sweets and all that is good stuff!!!).... Funny, December was my second best month: An indication it might be a good idea to eat more???

This is the real value in such a graph, to go back and disect what you did...

Pint -- I'm sorry but I think your progress is AWESOME!!

Learning what works for you & doesn't is invaluable -- something that will keep you on track for the rest of your life!! Down to 25% bf from 40%?? Wow!!

Good job!!
