this is pretty long, but if anyone has ever wanted to know what it's like to get a genital piercing, this should give you a really good idea.
I know the first question almost everyone will ask is why did i get what i got. The reason I decided to get a PA (Prince Albert) was for additional stimulation for myself and my partner during sex. don't get me wrong, the sex is good, but why not make it even better?
on the woman's end, this piercing will hit spots inside a woman in ways that can not be accomplished normally, increasing her pleasure tremendously. on the guy's end, it is supposed to create a feeling that the woman is trying to pull you back up inside of her. the other feeling I have been told can not even be put into words, it must be experienced first hand.
i've been debating on getting my penis pierced for almost 10 years and finally said enough is enough, it must be done. finding a piercer in my area was difficult, and i eventually managed to find 2 within an hour and a half drive or so.
today was the day, i've been planning this for 2 weeks. i made it up to the piercing shop shortly before 2pm. i spoke with the piercer for a little bit and we were ready to go. dropped my pants to my knees and got up in the chair. now to be honest, I didn't now how comfortable I was going to be with a guy handling me and piercing me, but he was extremely easy to talk to and very professional. I am now even more comfortable with my sexuality, as i was in no way aroused by a man handling me. as a matter of fact, my penis was attempting to retreat inside my body the entire time. i'm glad to know for a fact my penis doesn't like men.
he cleaned me up and got a ruler. he marked me 3/4" down from the hole. this is where the "fun" ended.
he had all his supplies ready to go. the first step was to insert a recieving tube down into the urethra and line it up with the marked spot on the underside of the penis. this tube is essential, as the needle needs somewhere to go once inserted.
the recieving tube felt strange. it was a little cold and slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. then came the pain. he had the tube inserted as deep as it had to go. he then began pushing the tube so it would force outward so the needle would penetrate the skin and enter the tube immediately. as he was pushing the tube outward, i started to feel quite a bit of pain and it wasn't subsiding. my heart was already racing, palms and forehead drenched in sweat, and i was shaking slightly.
he asked if i was ready, and i was. i took a very deep breath in and exhaled hard. it felt strange because my breathing had been shallow for a few minutes. as i finished my exhale, in went the needle.
my immediate response was to let out a rather loud "OH FUCK!" it hurt a lot, and i'm not going to deny that fact. i felt something exit the tip of my penis, and he informed me that he had removed the reciving tube and put a cork on the end of the needle.
he got the jewlery ready, a 10ga ring. with one smooth movement the needle was pulled out of the tip of my penis and the jewlery was inserted. that, again, hurt a lot. while it hurt almost as much as the needle going in, it was a slightly orgasmic feeling as it was pulled up through. i took this moment of calm to hold out my digital camera and take a picture.
then he got the ball and an expansion tool. he spread the ring out slightly and put the ball in place. he did comment that i was not bleeding much at all. big bonus for me. he wiped some blood off and i again took a picture.
i was gently wrapped in paper towels and they were taped onto me. he had me stay seated for about 5 minutes as all the color was out of my face, my heart was racing from all the adreneline, and i was quite a bit light headed. i stood up and pulled my pants up, then sat back down. he was ready to break out some smelling salts, as he didn't want me to black out, but i was ok.
i sat in the waiting room for about 10 minutes afterwards, letting my breathing and heart rate return to normal. we talked for a few minutes and i paid him. the piercing, jewlery included, was $55. i also bought a bottle of anti-microbial soap for $4, and gave him a total of $70 and refused to take the extra back even though he asked me twice if i was sure about that. he did an excellent job and was extremely professional. i couldn't of asked for more. he insisted i call him if i have any problems/questions/concens. very cool guy.
a little over an hour drive home and i was slightly uncomfortable the entire way. didn't bleed too much on the way home. when i got home and relaxed for a few minutes, i figured it was time to unwrap and see how bad i had bled. it didn't seem too bad, but as soon as i unwrapped i began bleeding from both holes. after a few minutes, i hopped in the shower just to rince off. i re-wrapped myself and relaxed for a while.
after a few hours i figured it was time to start drinking as much water as i could handle because i still have to pee and you don't want a high acid content in your urine (which means i gotta cut out almost aoo my coffee until i'm healed
).
gf came home from work and i showed her my new piercing. she wasn't as freaked out as expected. she wasn't quite sure what to expect, even though i had shown her pictures and even a video of a piercing being done. we're laughing together about the slight discomfort i'm experiencing.
first pee wasn't too bad. i hopped in the shower and had a cup filled with water to pee into in case it hurt. it began to sting immediately so i put it in the cup of water and peed that way. it felt good. very good actually, as in extremely relieving, similar to a beer piss where you've been drinking god only konws how much and you piss out half a 6-pack.
urine is almost completely sterile, so urination actually helps you keep the piercing clean. i do have to clean it twice a day as well though. that should be "fun."
it's going to be a few weeks before i can resume sexual activity. no big deal really. i can hold out for a few weeks if need be.
