Has anyone else seen this shit on TV? The majority(at least 95%) of the people that stayed behind waiting for the hurricane to pass were Black. They filled up everything they could find with goods from Walmart and any store they could get into. Hasn't Marshall Law been declared and, if so, why aren't they being shot on the spot?
I'm sure everyone paying attention to the news has seen it. They'd risk their lives just to loot through stores to get free shit. Those people make the rest of their people look bad. :evil:

I would think that 95% of that 95% were poor folks who had no where to go and no way to get there even if they did have some place to go. Some of those folks were looting to stay alive. Others were just dicks and that is something every race has in common.

But when I see Blacks runnin' through Walmart with DVD players and such, it makes my blood curdle. They looked at this disaster as an open window to get free shit. That's the bottom line!

allthough the government can in a state of emergency occupy any building and use its rescources for free if they need it. but let one person take something that isnt working for the government then they get shot. i just read that the government can do that. they can take any building they need and use whatever is in it during a state of emergency for free. i say there is a double standard.

Before anyone calls me racist I will let you know I am far from it. My three BEST friends are black and I've grown up listening to hip hop. hell i used to rap in high school... But anyway, you can say that they are looting because these people never had anything, but why is it mostly in NO??? All over the area there are poor communities with prime conditions for looting yet it's only happening in an area that is 95% black. Why aren't we hearing about looting in Mississippi or Alabama? They got hit with the same hurricane and the power is still out there. Poor areas like Okeechobee and Indiantown here in florida didn't have a problem with looting when the hurricanes hit last year. Funny thing is these areas are mostly white. You can spin it any way you want but it is the mentality of most, not all, black people to get back at "the man" any chance they get.

I'm fully aware of statistics. I'm fully aware that a majority of black people live in cities. I work in the legal profession, I'm fully aware of crime statistics. If you want, I can log on to Lexis-nexis at work and pull some.

If you want to go there with statistics, where are all the "white people are bring us down" threads in connection with the Meth labs & crackdowns going on across the country?

Exactly. I´m not one to treat a black person any different on the basis of their color either, but they definately have this "the world is against us so fuck it" mentality. Which is keeping them down there.

Last week this building burned down in Paris where all these Africans lived and they interviewed this woman who was furiously describing how poor the living conditions were and she yelled "which white family in France lives like this!?" As if thats making a point. She didn´t even have a passport to be there. she was fat. She had been eating a lot of food she didn´t work for.

The most hilarious thing is people are even taking them serious, even though they were squatting the place and not even paying.
 
honestly though with all the looting going on don't you think walmart has insurance for this. they will be reimbursed in full by their insurance company and the insurance company will be reimbursed by others.

im just saying it is wrong. im not condoning looting i think they should be shot. but when i read that the government can do it in a state of emergency i thought that was fucked up. the government has all the money. but why are THEY allowed to loot and not others?

I don´t understand your question. I also don´t think a lot of Meth producers post on Elite.

I am really fine with anybody taking the groceries and water and such to survive.

Hell, I'm white upper middle class and would have definitly left N.O. any way I could. But if not, I would probably be looking for Food and Water for my family any way I could..


I do think it sucks that people are taking DVD players, Electronics and guns though..

I hope they enjoy watching Barber Shop II without any damn electricity.

My sentiments exactly. Breaking into a store for food, water, propane, emrgency items can be rationalized. Grabbing a 35" HDTV cannot. Or a Marlin 30-30, for that matter? Why grab the guns, so you can prevent lawlessness?

Another person made a quote, "Well, WalMart's insured". Where do you think these companies get the money to pay insurance premiums? Insurance is going to go up, increasing overhead, increasing price point. By stealing a TV, the looters are screwing themselves by raising thier costs on consumables.

BTW, this looting isn't a racial issue, it's a decadence of society in crisis issue. Five bucks says a bunch of meth heads would be doing the same thing if this happened in Phoenix, Arizona.

It was suspected to be the worst Hurricane in 40 years. There were plenty of chances for her to leave, cut and dry. I feel sorry for her, don't get me wrong, and I hope she is well. Not everyone that stayed behind did so to loot. Most of them did though. I assure you. :evil:

72 hours by public transportatoin and FINDING everyone who is calling in a state of emergency and panic isn't enough time.

Do you realize the size of that city? Do you realize that sure now they have emergency helicopters and buses and still can't get those people all out and most are IN THE SAME BUILDING. Its still gonna take them days to evacuate.

There were hundreds upon hundreds of homeless, elderly, and people who just didn't have the means to get out. Though they were providing this said transportation.. they can't get to everyone AT ONCE. Some people were left behind, simple as that. Some people chose to stay and some just didn't take that warning and get out quick enough.

some went back to help others GET OUT and ended up getting stuck there.

There are also reports of people going INTO N.O. when the evac orders went let, just to take advantage of the looting potential..........evidently pretty common in evac situations....

I lived in a small town but went to school in a bigger town and often went to rotterdam where whites are a minority. I also competitively played basketball for 4 years in HS. I dont base such generalizations on the people I personally met alone.

How come the army is nothing shooting on the spot ? I heard on the news that the army was affraid to fly their choppers because some assclowns were firing around the stadium....lol

not sure what your point is. do you assume automatically because it was projected to be the worst strom in history that that automatically discounts the theory that some blacks may have intentionally stayed to loot.
