Since asked I thought it would be a great thread to start I will start with the basics. There eye shadows are hands down the best in the business. If you go to a free standing MAC store or online I highly recommend getting them in pallet form then and putting them in a quad saves you time, space and money.
These 4 are best basic MAC eye shadows regardless of eye colour:
Vanilla (best brow bone highlight hands down)
Soft Brown (great transition colour from between the lid and brow bone, also if you have blue eyes pop city with this looks amazing)
Cork (great in the crease colour also can be used to fill in eye brows if you have medium to dark brown even auburns hair could get away with this for blondes omega is a perfect eye brow colour.
Satin taupe (with this you can do a simple subtle Smokey eye)
Two other good to have colours but most find intimidating cause they are so dark is espresso and carbon they are great to use to darken the outer v and crease also can be used to line the eyes.
Another amazing MAC product regardless of skin and eye colour is there pigment in vanilla looks amazing on the inner corner of eyes also a great cheek bone highlighter I could do a whole other thread on the many amazing uses for this one love it!
