I want to start a new cycle of primo and anavar - I hear they work pretty well together without a lot of side effects. I've used some heavy andros in the past. I didn't do too much permanant damage, but had some pretty harsh sides while I was on. I want to hear about strength gains and dosages from everybody. Does the addition of winstrol boost strength gains at all?

Can you give us some background info... What have you taken and dosing? Your stats - weight, BF, and how long you have been lifting.

I'm 5'10''-190lbs-17%-18% bf. I've been lifting for over four years and am very naturally muscular and strong. May 2000 was my first cycle. Hopefully, this will be my second. During my first cycle, I put on 5-10 lbs lean mass over six weeks. My strength gains were astounding.
My cycle was as follows (all oral):
week1 4 primo tabs/day
week2 4 primo tabs and 3/10cc winny per day
week3-5 2 primo, 5/10cc winny, and 1/10cc
d-bol per day
week6 2 primo, 3/10cc winny per day
*I'm not so sure the primo did too much of anything. D-bol worked great for strength - terrible side effects!
For this cycle, my main concern is strength. While increasing my strength, I'd like to put on a good 10 lbs lean mass (I realize this may take more than 1 cycle), and eventually drop below 15%bf. I'd like to use anavar, primo, and maybe clen or winstrol.
I'd also like a few tips on staying lean through the cycle with diet, and also what diet is most condusive to muscle gain. And if anyone knows how long after the cycle these drugs are detectable through urinalysis, I'd love that info too. I really appreciate all your help. I'm so glad we have this board!

So you have taken dbol.... yeeeps. Bet you don't do that again

I would stay with injectable primo if at all possible. But you need to know that primo is dectecable for a LONG time, as in months. If your going to stack with anavar then take 10mg of anavar per day and 50mg of primo per week. This will give you some very good gains.

Are you getting ready for a show? Or are you in sports?

Thanks for the reply, Lobo! I do sports, and I may be doing a show next summer - we'll see. I plan to do competitions in the future.
I was also wondering what adding either winny or clen would do? Any suggestions?

I'm with Lobo on this one. I might even do them seperately. Why? to see what works best and what I can do without. My experience with primo+winny was that they worked quite well for what I needed, but since I cycled them together I'm not quite sure which thing did what. Right now I'm doing an Anavar 10mg/day for 8 weeks that's it. So far ZERO sides, great pump, recovery, and stamina. Although I'm quite strong anyway, my poundages are starting to climb. 245x3 bench this week. As one of similar stature (5'9" 180 or so) I relate to your position. Unless there is a specific goal that has to be reached within a certain time frame what's the rush? Try one thing at a time and see what works best for you. Diet stuff? 2 words, CLEAN and LEAN. If you're not 'cutting' pile on the calories meaning chick breast, tuna, flank steak, rice, yams typical bodybuilder stuff. If you're concerned about looking like the stay puft marshmallow gal then stay away from the 'junk'. Lots of leafy greens/veggies and plenty of H2O no matter what. Keep it simple. Anybody else? I hope I didn't miss anything.

I do want to increase my strength rapidly, and in the near future. My bb competition days are relatively far away, but my need for strength is imediate.
I would like to know how long you gals stay on your cycles, and after how many weeks until you start to see good gains? What about plateaus? Has anyone reached strength plateaus on their cycle? Did you increase the dosage, or change other things about your training to get over the hump?

Well, let's see... I started lifting when I was 14 as part of a sports training regimen. Before it was cool. I will be 34 in april 2001, sooo about 20 years in the iron game. At least 5x per week for the last 10 years. Yes, I'm a gym junkie. This begins my 3rd cycle. Anavar only. I lift every other day (M,W,F,Sun) and do cardio on the opposite days (Tu, Th, Sat). I take a day when I get tired. Some times after 10 days, sometimes after 3. It depends on how I feel, and whether or not I'm recovering. Chest routine is usu 4 super sets of weighted dips& pushups and some sort of bench. I usu vary my exercises (sequence, incline, decline,flat etc.) each workout. The only machine I use for chest is the occasional pec deck (usu supersetted with a free weight exercise). I hope this answers all your questions. Oh yeah, there are only 2 rules to this game, Go as heavy as you can for your rep scheme and always with picture perfect form.

The bench press is my favorite lift. I too began lifting weights for sports when I was younger. Today, I'm twenty-two and have just benched 225 lbs for the first time after specific bench training. I noticed that you said that you have benched 245 for three reps. Tell me about that accomplishment in relation to your cycles. When did you have the best strength gains? What were you using, if anything, and for how long before you saw results?

I think the bench thing happened by accident quite frankly. I was in the middle of a primo/winny cycle when, low and behold I broke my leg!!! Can you say ouch?? Anyway, I had a forced lay off of sorts. I could do NO cardio, NO legs, and for the first 8 weeks I had to use machines because I didn't have the ability to balance myself very well, at least not without pain. The point is that with the additional 'rest' my upper body rose to a whole new level. My legs are a different story. At this point I'm back up to squating 275 for 3 sets of 3-5 reps. Strong, yes but not where I want to be. My deadlift is back up to 315 for 3 sets of 3-5 reps. again, respectable but far from my goal of 500. I think at this point I'm just starting to feel a new level of strength beginning. I've been on anavar 10mg/day since Oct.1 so I should be seeing some increase pretty soon. I'll keep you posted.
