I am very interested in developing more quad separation. Fitness Chicks pictures were a great help. Any suggestions forthis as well as developing the area on the front of lower hip(I don't know if this is part of the lower external obliques? see FC's quad shot) I have yet to see mine and am thinking these may only be visible through less body fat.

ps. LOOK! I'm a pro bodybuilder now! lol

Quad separation requires a combination of muscles large enough to see, low bodyfat levels and, for most women, a little dehydration. If any one of these ingredients is missing, then you'll end up with plain old shapely legs instead. LOL
A good tan also helps bring out what you've already got.

Flexing and holding as part of your work out seems to help..But like MS said only if your lean and have the muscle to flex.

Oh yeah, thanks IG. I forgot to mention that even when you've got the muscle AND the leaness happening, you still need to play around and practice the posing. A good show of quads is different for everyone, and the only way to find out is to try different stuff. Point toes, flex toes, rotate toes in or out, straight leg or bent knee, etc....See what works best for you.

flexing did it for me----stand with your toes pointed out, heels tgether, and try to push your knees slightly out while flexing those quads hard----- low bf levels & good muscle help pull it all together too
