Anyone heard of Amrinone for fatloss?? I just read it in an article on this sight. Anyone tried it?    | ||

I dont know where the article is (I looked a little but didnt see it), but this is one of those drugs that even I, the try everything once guy wouldnt mess with. Its an alpha and beta blocker but that is about where its usefulness ends to me... It causes relaxation of the smooth ventricular muscle (NOT a good thing), increased cardiac index, lowered serum T3 and T4... and those arent even considered side effects! Side effects include pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary inflamation, worsening of arrythmias, coagulation abnormalities, and tons of others which are worse if you take it by I.V. The drug interaction list for it is HUGE! To me it isnt worth it... even with an experianced person administering it and supervising... even I have limits (well, mabye a couple)  |
