I remember her as a swimsuit model, years and years ago... but I saw the pictures your talking about, and she looks good! I didnt mind her when she was big either, though... shit, I aint scared!!! Id rather have a challenge than one of these little wilting violets, bending to my wishes... makes it more sporting. If Im worried about getting put in a headlock if I dont "perform", Im gonna give it my all! ------------------

In my opinion the spread of Chivesky in Flex was disgusting. I think she looked awesome as a bodybuilder, now she looks like she's had a one year bout with some sort some wasting disease. You couldn't pay me enough to see her compete in a fitness show. Once a bodybuilder, always a bodybuilder. F1

I second that, F1. | ||

F1 I have not seen the Flex pictures, but I have seen pictures of her On the NPC site and she has lost a hell of a lot of muscle. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against womens bodybuilding but in some of the last Bodybuilding pictures of Kim, yes she had an incredible body, but her face was looking pretty "FUBAR". The same goes for Dorian he looks a lot more health now. The last Bodybuilding pictures I seen of Dorian in Flex, he looked like he had the face of a 60 year old man. This more than anything should tell you just how much of a part steroids and other drugs play in creating the physiques you see at the Olympia, as when they come off the gear they shrink to normal size people in less than 6 months.

madmitch Agreed on the drugs/looks aspect. But Dorian isn't entering a fitness show. I'd rather see Chivesky continue to lift clean, maintain some size and continue to support bodybuilding rather than make a spectacle of herself in a fitness event. When was the last time a pro women BB made it as a fitness competitor? Some have tried by none have made it to the top. Seeing Kim in a fitness show would turn my stomach as much as watching Dorian bounce around the stage in a men's fitness show. But, it's her decision. F1hybrid

You are right F1 If she is going to retire she should do so gracefully and not try to go into fitness. I think the main reason pro's retire is due to health reasons. They can't possible pump themselves full of drugs for year after year and not experience some complications. I believe a lot of the pro's who don't read the health signs and retire, usually end up in a hospital bed. The power lifters at my local gym told me that it is a well known fact that the Olympia prize money just about covers the drugs bill for the winner. What's that? $100,000 for the mens and $20,000 or more for the women.

I dont really have much of an opinion on the competing in fitness aspect of it, however I do think she looks a million times healthier now.....her face looked so square & so drawn before & her skintone was awful......

FitnessChick You made the exact same observations I made. Up until about 2 or 3 years ago Kim was pretty good looking, but once she really picked up the muscle mass her face just completely changed. The same goes for almost all the other pro men and women, you can tell when they are really pumping in the gear as their face changes. What annoys me the most though are the pro guy's and girls who deny taking huge quantities of gear and yet they are usually the ones that have the most obvious facial side effects. eg Mike M*******o the guy has got a chin that sticks out more than almost any other pro I have seen. In some pictures of Mike I have even seen veins running down his forehead - gear, gear and even more gear. Yes Mike we believe you, you where a 260 lb pro before you even touched steroids. Sorry FitnessChick for ranting, but I though I was the only one who could see the obvious changes the Massive, not small, MASSIVE doses of bodybuilding drugs can make to a persons face, male or female.

Its all in the hGH abuse. You can not even use gear and gh abuse will give you that squareness to your jaw (check some of those "naturals" out... no anabolics, but gh isnt an anabolic!) I agree about Matrazzo, fucking liar. It seems like the new trend is to come forward and admit you use in magazines, but act like "Hey, I dont use half as much as the rest of these guys!" As much of a toll as the drugs can take on you (by never having a break for years on end), the extreme diet is just as hard. Fuck drugs, Lee Priest in the end (I think) will have the most severe complications to his health from gaining and loseing 100lbs every year... ------------------

So Monster you have also noticed it too. Yes it could well be the growth hormone and as for the Naturals!!! Again most of the pictures of the natural competitions I have seen you can tell they are almost all using, by how far their chin sticks out. Old Skippy boy having the worst jutting out chin of all the Naturals I've seen.

Monster I must agree....thinking about Lee Priest & his fluctuations makes me cringe.....That is just not healthy.....he was here by me not too long ago to do some promos & he was working out at a local gym----which happened to be right next door to his hotel & a dennys......he was seen in dennys like 4 or 5 times daily piling down dozens of whole eggs, pancakes, hash browns, sausage... and lots of other artery clogging food.....he actually told someone that dennys happened to be one of his favorite places to eat....I dont know, he doest look like a good candidate for a long life....

FitnessChick I don't think that Lee Priest is the only one who eats like that in the off season. I remember reading in Flex magazine, Kim Chizevsky saying that in her off season she would eat pizza, cheese cake and ice cream as it was the only way she could put on the mass. Also there was an article about Ron Coleman in Flex where he said that he ate cheese, and one of his daily meals was Fried Fish and French Fries in the off season. I think this is the only way they can get the 5 or 6000 calories they say they eat in the off season. A lot of the pro's will try and bullshit you and say that they eat healthy low fat chicken and rice year round. Again this crap is supported by the industry. Look at all the bodybuilding magazine articles on dieting for mass. They usually are low fat and consist of chicken and rice and lots of MRP's and protein shakes. All in an effort to sell you more of their bullshit products which don't usually do very much as they go through your system so fast. Your body has little or no time to utilise the nutrients in them. FitnessChick remember that a lot of these guy's and girls are also using a shit load of Testosterone, GH, Thyroid and Clenbuterol to stop them from really turning into the Michelin man or woman. Even with the huge amounts of gear they are using they still get pretty fat in the off season, maybe because they save their GH for competition time. Well that's my ranting done for another day.

I am sure you are 100 percent correct---- That I never doubted.....however, I am sure that doing that in addition to all that gear cannnot be doiing good things for their health......

Hi guys! I've seen Kim in person not too long ago. Her upper body has indeed shrank, but her legs still look freaky. She's held onto a ton of muscle for not having lifted weights for a year. In my opinion she does look healthy and a lot more feminine. As for fitness competitions, she has a background that is going to make her a darn good athlete. Don't doubt her. She's got a work ethic like no other. I'll put my money on her success in fitness competitions. Just wait and see.
