I am wanting to try something for cutting up. I am training 6 days a week and doing high cardio. I was wondering the side effects of each of these and if anyone has a preference between the two. Thank you

Tia, welcome to the board. You might try doing a search to get fast and thorough responses to your question. Anavar and Winstrol have been discussed quite a bit on this board.

Hi Tia, and welcome to the board. Take a few min and read through a few of the posts and get comfortable with things. Believe me, we may not respond within five min like the A. Board, but then we don't forget yas either. And we tend to stick around a bit more too! The winny vs. anavar is a never ending question that will never be resolved. Some love it (aka FitnessChick) and some find that it produces so many unwanted sides as to make it unusable. You'll never know untill you try it. Anavar is by far the more "safe" roid. BUT, it can be a bitch to find and 10x as expensive! Before we can really help you, we need to know more about you. Your goals, weight, BF, workout history, and anything else you can think of. Help us help you. It's not an easy task to put all we'll need into a post, or two, or three. But I never give off the cuff advice without some good background info - as do ALL of the vets here. One mistake and your living with some permanent sides for life. Hey, I could have just said 50mg of winny eod and let you fly.... But I think you and I both know there is a bit more to it than that. So if your really interested in LEARING, you found a damn good site. Oh... and it's ok to smack IG & Monster around...they love it. (this will be funny to you in about two weeks)

quote: Sorry that I disappeared, I was off work for a couple of days and this is where I do my email. I have been looking through the board like you suggested and it has been very helpful. I have been working out on and off since I was 21. I am now 28. I started serious training about 2 months ago. I was never really serious and working towards a goal until now.

Good to see ya back Does your gym have a BF testing service? Most gyms do offer this. If not, you can call around and find one for a quick check. Of course you can buy one and do it your self. Not all that hard. On the cardio thing, longer sessions, fewer sessions. Nothing under 45 min. No more than three times per week. This is a good starter base. You must focus on lifting weights - free weights. I would also like to see you lift a bit longer and get a more solid foundation under your belt before you jump into roids. This will also give you some time to fully understand the many aspects of what gear can and can't do. In my book lifting "on and off" usually means more off time than on and doesen't really count. The long term and consistant work ethic is what you now need to accept. Think about some goals you would like to see happen. Make sure they are short and long term ones. Oh, take some photos of yourself right now. You will NEVER regret this. Would like to get some more info on your diet. ------------------ Lobo

I would definitly wait before doing gear.....You should develop your own natural potential a lot more before using....you will make some of your best natural gains on your own the first year of training.....definitly take pics....I did almost every 3 or 4 months for the last 5 5 years & let me tell you It is amazing!!! Its nice to look back & see your transformation!

Tia, No matter what ANYONE tells you,I STRONGLY believe that Winny is NOT good for a woman to mess with.It is a direct derivative of DHT and could lead to nasty side effects.I have seen it first hand.Stick with Primoblan or Anavar J

Well 1 Mistake.....not saying this applies to everone, but 3 cycles later I have had no problems.....as I said though, everones reactions to things are different.....I personally have made awesome gains & have ahd no serious sides.....

ok to smack me around huh? yeah, I guess I cant argue... but two weeks? Hell, Lobo, you think it'll take that long? ------------------

Tia, Book? Humm what book? Hehehe, that was just a slang term as in "my opinion". When I first talk with folks I hear that statement over and over. When I continue to press the question on exactly how must they really worked out, it usually ranges from once a week to once a month You also don't have to use the quote feature to reply. Most of us can follow your post - this will help keep the thread from gettng to long. Monster - the two weeks was for IG's benefit. 1mistake, winny can be a knock out roid for women to use and give outstanding gains. OR it can result in sides from such small amounts as to make it unusable. The POINT I consistently make is that ONE NEVER KNOWS until it is used. There is never a sure fire formula for women to go by when it comes to roid use. This is why first cycles (as in the first half dozen) must be taken very slow, planed far in advance with much thought and goals firmly in place. ------------------ Lobo

I have pretty much decided to hold off on any roid use until I see what I personally can do with weights, cardio and diet. I have seen some results already, I guess I just want that cut up body quickly. Have any of you heard good things about Hydroxicut? I read an article about it in Muscle Mag. Maybe you should write a book. Hehehe I would have bought it.

Oddly enough I have put together a book of sorts. It is basically a compilation of good info from the web all edited and rolled into a word doc.... In fact, Im going to send a copy got Bmom and get her .02 ------------------ Lobo

Warlobo's book is sprawled across the pages of Elite and I use it as a Reference book all the time. From Clen to White Death it is great stuff.

I'll be going out of town soon so I'll need something to make my flights seem less boring(if there really IS such a thing - LOL).....you always seem to know just what I need Sherif!....Look forward to quality reading. Shit - I just had a scary thought - No freaking interuptions from little demanding buggers (hubby being THE MOST demanding)....for nearly three, count them THREE WHOLE DAYS! OH MY GOD! What WILL I do? :0

Can I get a copy of the word document or is it posted somewhere that I can look it up like Ulter said? Does anyone have any suggestions on my diet? Am I eating right?

I was speaking metaphorically. You can put in just about any subject, add the word women, and find a Lobo post in the search database. White Death is one you should check out. It's a more recent work of art. Be sure and check "archived" when you do your search.

Well, for starters, your complex carbs are basically non-existant....how about this....
meal 2 (11am).....2 grilled chicken breasts with brown rice & veggies meal 3(2pm)....protein shake meal 4 (5pm)....either fish or grilled chicken or lean steak ( look for select cuts) with a yam & veggies meal 5(7pm).....a smaller version( aka smaller portion) of meal # 2 or 4 meal 6 ( pre bed).....whey protein shake.

Ulter, Boy do I feel stupid, sorry-guess I have to get up to date on all the lingo on this discussion board. I read your White Death, Wow!!!! That was very interesting. Fitness Chick How do you set up your weight training week?
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 1227 |
2x a week for bi's really is not necessary....
Day 1 Chest & Shoulders I change my workout split every 2 months or so .....
Day 1 Chest & Bi's I also did one awhile back that split my leg day up into 2 days as to help the development of my hamstrings & glutes... Day 1 Chest I usually always train abs & calve alternating days with any split I do.....lately I do additional rear delt work on back day in addition to shoulder day to bring them up....it all depends on you.... As you can see there are many ways to split your workout---just depends on your time schedule & how many days a week you want to train.....

Thanks, Do you do 3 days of cardio=45 minutes?
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 1227 |
actually I cut out my cardio when I dont have a shoot to diet for.....even then I only do 3 days of medium intensity cardio for about 25 to 30 minutes......i have good metabolism & super intense workouts that keep me lean ( in addition to a good diet).... I personally feel too much cardio flattens me out .....let me ( us ) know what your bf levels & stats, (and goals) are when you get them done.....then we can help you on the amount of cardio you should do....

FitnessChick - thanks for the training split suggestions. It saves me from creating a new post. Lately I've been splitting hams/quads because quads just kill me (and I need more work on my legs). My shoulder workouts get in the way of my squatting the following day and my biceps are too sore to train back then my back is too sore and so on.... in other words I haven't been able to make it work out so I am not too sore. I'm going to try the third one you listed. :-)

I have ordered a Calliper to measure my BF. I will let you know. I know how those photo shoots are. Although I never did one for a magazine. I was into modeling for 5 years. I had a blast. Is your picture anywhere that I can see? Have you participated in a lot of Body Building Competitions? I would love to be a fitness Model, but you probably have to be in competitions to get publicity right?

Yes this is a great board. Eveyone has been very imformative and the response times are incredible. Thanks I still have not found out much about Hydroxicut. Is it worth trying?
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 1227 |
Hydroxycut isnt a bad thermogenic---just requires you to take a few too many pills a day for my tastes.....see my topic" current thremogenics of choice" & you can see some other brands that may be worth trying!
