Sigh... I wish more women would do what you've done! It goes to show how much solid weight gain can re-shape the female body. I remember you did a Primo cycle. Could you give us a brief update on where you were in the cycle when you did the after shot? And how about a brief re-cap on the whole cycle/diet/training? That's asking a lot, but those pics really say a lot; I'm sure some readers out there would like some information. PS We have pics of you now, BUT WHERE ARE THE PICS OF DOLLY? I'm waiting anxiously! ;^)

Great job!! Drastic improvement. A little sacrifice and hard work at the gym goes a long way. Your pictures speak for themselves. You must be very happy with the change. Keep up the good work. ------------------

GIRL OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Unbelievable!....All that improvement in @3 months! No magic, just discipline, eating a lot of the proper foods and hard work. I know you THINK your legs are heavy - but I'm telling you - that's in your head!...I can see amazing calves, and quads!....dying to see the hamstrings and gultes. Remember to arch your back and tighten up (like you're going to take it from behind, was the way it was described to me - HAHA!) Now that I'm lean I feel like I have chicken legs - Shit, we are just never satisfied, are we? Good job!

I really want to tell you all thank you for your answers when I had questions as well as your blunt honesty at times. (which I did not take well) it's always harder to hear it when YOU KNOW it's true. The after pics came 3 wks after my primo cycle. Anyway, I became very disapointed as some of you know because I was bigger physically all over. The muscle I gained was still far beneath the layer of fat so I was actually larger and still looked like shit. I was told by everyone "primo isn't known for causing water retention" maybe not but my body reacted with horrid swelling in the palms of my hands, fingers, and wrists. (obviously no 6th inject)The swelling was so bad the skin on my hands and palms actually peeled off in thick sheets. Anyway, after my initial "poor fat ugly me" phase passed I realized that I had a major misconception of what this AS cycle was suppose to do for me. Bottom line, AS is not a miracledrugyou take to acheive a perfect body by thinking you won't have to work as hard since you have "test". At the end of my cycle I took a few days off to decide if this is where I would quit, give up and say this was a bunch of shit. Which a large part of me wanted to do. After 4 days of wearing nothing but surgical scrubs because not a single piece of clothing I owned fit including my underwear, I got my fat ass up and wrote down my "after AS cycle goals" then I went to gym, got on that treadmill and visualized for 40min. what I wanted to achieve physically and mentally by being there. I now do this 6 days a week and am following the weight lifting schedule many of you helped create. ps. before pict-135-137lbs. after pict. 142lbs and holding. I am only 5ft2 (in the morning) [This message has been edited by tnheygirl (edited September 20, 2000).]

The transformation is very nice indeed, HOWEVER, I think your best achievement thus far was to post the following statement: "...I realized that I had a major misconception of what this AS cycle was suppose to do for me. Bottom line, AS is not a miracledrug you take to acheive a perfect body by thinking you won't have to work as hard since you have "test". " Well done grass hopper ------------------ Lobo

Bravo! Well stated tnheygirl!!! "my goals are clearer and closer than they have ever been and this board is yet to see the last photo's of me..Where there's a lifetime of goals there really are no "after" picts." That is the attitude that takes people wherever they want to be with or without an AAS assist!!! You're looking great! ------------------ Omnia Praeclara

you look awesome, Tnhey....and, not even in comparison to before.....all on your own, as you look now, you look great......does the number in your weight bother you?? That's the impression that I get...anyhow....for me, it's hard to ignore the numbers on the scale, especially on a bad day...I'm like XXXlbs! wtf!! then on a good realistic day, I look at the scale and think " O well, weight is the same, but, I have more muscle now".... Anyhow....you look great.... Now, let's see your hams and back....actually, I wanna see your butt

Again, thank you and this board for being there for me. Only a few here know, right before joining this board I had 2 loses on the same day in my immediate family. You people and this board have had quite a positive impact on my mental state as well as my physical. This just go's to show, we aren't really aware of eachothers everyday lives and how imperative it is to give opinions and feedback in a positive way to anyone who chooses to be a member. Some or many may be weak in mind and body and looking for somthing they feel is missing in their lives. That is exactly why I joined and probably why most of you did too. You people are great and I am glad to be a part.

Girl, you look incredible. I know you've been complaining about your legs but I love the look of your quads! Putting on all that muscle while losing BF is amazing! And your attitude is the best part about it. Are you doing an official contest - like EAS?
Pro Bodybuilder Posts: 305 |
Juicy-At first, I was going to do the EAS Challenge but came to the conclusion I didn't want to do it in THEIR time limit. I wanted to do it when I felt ready to begin. I am still working hard and in another 2 months I will post again.

KikAss, >O..OK...then maybe you can give me some advice.....hehe....on the scale and number thing Just look at tn's pics., and believe her when she says she GAINED 7lbs. That's the best "advice" she could give, IMO.
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 289 |
Aber: I meant for Tnhey to give advice on not letting the numbers on the scale bother me....like I said in another post on this thread (read the whole THREAD), somedays...numbers bother me, other days, they don't....if the numbers enver bother Tnhey, maybe she ahs some advice to give me.... OK, now I've grown tired of this...

Kikass, >Aber: I meant for Tnhey to give advice on not letting the numbers on the scale bother me....like I said in another post on this thread (read the whole THREAD), somedays...numbers bother me, other days, they don't That's what I thought you meant. I assumed you were bothered by what the scale said because you thought, on somedays, you weighed TOO much. I assumed right? Or not? What I meant was simply that the pics show that a woman can gain weight, and look trimmer. Too few women work on their bodies. (I don't consider you gals to be among them, BTW.) Of those women that do work on their bodies, I think too few are willing to let themselves gain weight--at least temporarily--as part of their training/diet.
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 208 |
Actually Aaron, it not even an area we can make comparisons in. "Most women" cant be compared to women involved in the "physical culture". How many MEN are willing to put on 10 pounds of fat over the winter to come out in the summer with 15 punds of muscle? Few. Even most who go to the gym just go and work out with no concept as to how to do anything. All of us involved in this lifestyle (really involved) are of a different breed. But your point is well taken! ------------------

Why are you holding a newspaper?? The first pic looks like one of the before-after pics in flex.
Pro Bodybuilder Posts: 305 |
I was going to do the Body for Life deal not flex but when it came down to it I just wasn't mentally ready to do it and seeing a pict of myself was a lot of reality all at once. I didn't realize how bad I had let myself go until I saw the picts. So I decided to do it on my time. Oh wait a minute are you suggesting I just borrowed a before pict from a magazine? Surely not! If you like I can email ya the pict with my head attached and you can compare the face to my face on my website. It's me believe it!
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 78 |
why do before pics always have a newspaper in there hand????? WHY???? look good though!
Pro Bodybuilder Posts: 305 |
Because many of us were either in a contest where you had to prove the date you started by holding a USA Today paper as proof of when the pict was taken. I ended up not doing the contest and figured one set of before picts were more than plenty.

Warloc- Sad to say, my diet could have been much better. It's hard to say what my results could have been with a little more conservative approach to the carbs. I literally ate chicken, fish, white rice (should have been brown), some pasta, nuts, whole grain breads and cereal, a lot of red meat(also yuck),eggs(yolk and all) and for some strange reason I craved crab legs the whole time. 2 flintstone vitamins, 1-500mg vitamin c, 3-16oz. protein shakes/day, flaxseed oil, water. I am a very very picky eater which makes training much harder. I do not like nor eat any vegetables with the exceptions of the starchy ones. I have tried. Good luck to you and your wife. Tell her to keep a positive outlook as well as a mental picture of how great she will look and feel in only a short time. Let her know I'm right there with her still working hard for the next goal on my list. |
