Has anyone else had this experience - done a comp dieted hard been really good after the competition had some nasty food then gone back to healthy eating. Then a few months down the line just found they can't face another piece of chicken, fish or any kind of meat. All I want to eat at the moment is porridge and protein powder and protein bars. The thought of meat etc urghhhh what the hell am I going to do I'm going to be in a competition in 8 weeks I need to get rid of this feeling. Any ideas???? I have all the right intentions but I just can't face that chicken. Would I be okay adapting a vegetarian diet instead?

There were 2 threads from lala that I've bumped to the top. Sounds like you have a really bad case of the dieting blues! Are you still enjoying your veggies, or are you just into survival eating now? It may be that the chicken and fish are just too slow to get digested and absorbed, and your body is crying out for instant calories. Increasing your carbs may help if this is the case. From memory you don't have lots of fat to lose, so maybe you can afford to ease up a little on the diet. You've been dieting a long time!
