I hate to post pics. Geesh, talk about a nice body, MS. I really hope that someday I can reach that level of muscularity. Very nice. I did snap a few with my cam. They aren't very good since 1. I can't pose and snap at the same time heck , I just can't pose. I never had to, and 2. You can't see all my muscle groups this way but you'll get the idea. I know that I need more mass. I am fighting narrow shoulders but am feeling good about the progress. I am eating way more now. I don't think I was eating enough before. My training intensity is very good. My man helps me alot but is usually too busy working on himself. Before the napalm ensues I did not post these for compliments so fire away. Let me know what is really lagging from what you can see. You can't see my hamstrings but those are my best bodypart. I'll have to have someone takes shots of my back, glutes and hammies. Oh, and BTW, I have been training since December. Let's see anything else oh yea the link: [This message has been edited by riptchick (edited August 26, 2000).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nice quads RC - Definately build across the shoulders, traps. Biceps are coming along..the are a pain to get to grow aren't they? Don't forget your forearms girl. I can't wait to see the rest when you get to it...keep up the good work. ------------------ [This message has been edited by skydancer (edited August 25, 2000).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I put all of the pieces together in MS Paint. You have three arms, but otherwise look great! Seriously though, I am quite impresses with your quad development. Your upper body falls short by comparison. My guess is that your favorite workout is legs. Your abs are nice, but the whole package would stand out gloriously with some more meat in the chest, shoulders and arms. Definately hit the forearms! Get someone to take a pic of your back too so that we can get the rear view. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I guess I can't fool you guys. Jayelynn you hit the nail right on the head. My legs overpower my upperbody. I was a gymnast for years and as a result my quads and hammies are bigger. I try and lay off them a little. I just can't seem to bring my shoulders up. I figure if I did that then it my bring some frickin' proportion to the big picture. Of course, all over mass would help. My favorite part to train is chest. I developed the line down the middle not to long ago and since I am a negative A cup it makes me feel like I have boobs so....Thanks for all the input. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

So far so good. More time, work, diet, and rest. Oh, and a vitamin or two ![]() Start thinking of your overall package and where your weak points are. Now is the time to start bringing up the smaller muscle groups. Learn what it takes for them to grow. Don't wait years down the road to get that balance. ------------------ Lobo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Riptchick.. You look great.. and from your pics I think we are both having the same problem.. my legs are good, but my back is lagging. What are you doing for your upper body? Ive been doing lots of chins, and hopefully that will help. Any suggestions from your end? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Riptchick - I see you have upperbody lagging too (like me). I found that kick-boxing has helped (one class a week made a diff). These classes also helped tighten up my legs and helped w/calf development. MightyDog (on the chat board) suggested swimming laps for shoulders - I'll have to give it a try once I get access to a pool and learn how to swim w/o holding my nose! LOL! Pull-ups, pull-ups, pull-ups, lta-shrugs, t-bar and barbell rows have REALLY helped bring out my lats. Also - there is no way around it. If you want to gain mass - you MUST bulk. I tried for 2 years to gain mass while lean - DIDN'T work! I have made such tremendous gains comparatively on the short bulk cycles I was on that it really helps me (mentally) accept the cheese on my butt - hell, I was up to 130# this summer and I never had a problem in a bikini! Was I perfect?...NO, but it was still good enough to turn the young boys heads, he-he! You have a BEAUTIFUL face, but you already new that! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

BMOM, I am getting ready to BULK. I have to psych myself up to eat that much, I've kinda always been a picker. I like to eat all day but usually its not a lot. Just recently I started making sure I at least get enough protein. I eat plenty of carbs and too many sweets. I am a reformed don't-eat-all-day-to-get-skinny person. I love the swimming idea too. Shit, you ever see long distance swimmers' upper bodies. Usually great shoulders. Yesterday I trained back and bis: I always do the basic moves. I am currently doing the pyramid type of set thingys. You all know what I mean. I do lots of negatives and train like I'm not gonna live another day. I keep plugging away. Thanks for all your help. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

You Go!...EAT A LOT ....OF GOOD STUFF (and don't sweat the not-so-good stuff - For GOD's SAKE! ...If you ever compete your life will be miserable enough!!!!!) I take in AT LEAST one gram of protein p/# of bodyweight - I'm NO EXPERT when it comes to diet and as I am not taking A/S I don't know if I really need to go to much above that, but everybody is different. Also take in plenty of quality complex carbs - don't FORGET YOUR VEGGIES & FRUITS - God! What I wouldn't give to eat a BIG FAT RIPE JUICY PEACH or BANANA right now!!!!!! Also as mentioned b4 - vitamins and minerals!!! You'll be surprized how quickly your mentality changes from "OO if I eat this I'll get fat!" to "Yea, Baby's got junk in her trunk!" When you see the gains your making you will want to slap yourself silly for wasting so much time by not feeding your body properly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
