Hi, My GF is 5,6" and 8 stone (14 pounds in 1 stone) - she wants to get down to around 7.2 stone. She trains (CV and light muscle workout) 5 times a week. Her legs are very toned but she is not happy with her belly - i mentioned to her that a light cycle could help? Can anyone recommend a light cycle which would tone her up and burn fat? Look forward to your replies! Cheers Oli [This message has been edited by amaze (edited August 21, 2000).]

well a cycle may not be the way to go- how about diet....cardio, intense training....what specifically is she doing now as far as diet & training are concerned...

Hi FC, Well she eats very well - she is actually a veggie. With regards to her workout - she does 1 day CV then the next day light weights (high reps low weight) for 5 days per week. I thought a cycle would help her cut up and give her that little bit extra? Maybe i was wrong cheers

Heavier weight training boosts your metabolism a great deal. Make sure her workouts are intense and she is pushing herself. Abs is diet and genetics too. Try some ab routines and mix it up to hit all the muscles. There are plenty of fatburners on the market as well. I dont think I cycle is really needed for a little toning up. It takes hard work and great diet consistently!!!!

ha ha warlobo i suggest dieting and cardio like FC. why does she want to weight 100lbs at 5'6"? That is skinny. convince her not to think in numbers, but what you she feels she looks the best at. dirtratt

Ok, for some real stuff. Good comments as always gang. One thing is that you need to look at body fat, not weight! Second thing, roids do not make you lose weight/fat. They will help build and preserve muscle mass. Very important to realize this. ------------------ Lobo

Good start amaze. If that doesn't work, get some sterile saline and some sugar pills. Give her a 1ml injection of saline in the butt every Sunday, and have her take the sugar pills 4 times per day. Tell her the 'drugs' will only work if she trains hard and eats perfectly and I guarantee she'll see results! A bodyfat test is also really important, especially if she's veggie. Some women carry their veggies as an unsightly bulge in their lower abs. You really need to find out if it's excess fat she's carrying, or just a 'veggie bulge'. But I have to agree that 5'6" and 100 lbs seems a pathetic goal to me. Sound anorexic. To each their own.
