Hmmm, thats the first time I ever had to beg a woman for anything... heh heh, ok. Mabye not. But heres a questin for you all... Those of you using gear, Im interested in knowing how using gear has effected your fertility? Have any of you gotten pregnant since you started using (not WHILE obviously) but post-cycle. Plus, what were you using and how much? My wife is considering and though Im well versed in the effects of AS on the male endocrine system, Im kind of in the dark on the female perspective... Any help would be great!!! Monster IP: Logged |

AAS really shouldn't have a lasting effect on the m-cycle (fertility) as there are similar hypothalamic and pituitary feedback loops for both women and men. Women might have an easier time recovering adult reproductive function than do men. First, the doses of AAS used are smaller. Secondly the m-cycle is usually self-priming with a state of positive feedback during the early part of the m-cycle. Remember that estrogen up-regulates both it's own receptor and also the progesterone receptor. As you're probably aware, adult men operate largely in negative feedback mode. Their hypothalamus can remain scrambled for a long time after AAS unless reset with clomiphene or pulsatile gonadorelin acetate (Lutrepulse). The pulse frequency of gonadotrophin releasing hormone tends to be a bit different for women, with the ideal pulse frequency being 120 minutes apart. The pulse frequency for men is closer to 90 minutes between bolus'. From a practical standpoint, Primobolan Depot doesn't seem to affect anything at 100 mg/week. Andriol at low dose doesn't affect anything either (ie. one gelcap each day). Actually, to be entirely truthful the gear would seem to promote feelings of profound health and mental resiliency on the inside to accompany the greater strength on the outside. Hard to be stressed while 'on'. At least this appeared true after being hypogonadal for a good while before... Realistically, the psychogenic stresses of everyday 'adult' life would mess-up the female cycle to a greater extent than a weekly Primo shot. Deca could pose problems given that it is also progestational (and therefore inhibitory to both estrogen receptor upregulation and pituitary action). Still, if her m-cycles were regular to begin with, sooner or later they will resume. Try to promote her best peace of mind and allow her to act in a delicate and cliche Victorian manner in some ways in the meantime if she wishes. ie. plenty of sleep, no dieting, balanced meals, and no 'low-fat' and minimal financial worries. Fatty salmon and such foods are Good. The fatty foods make it easier to convince the brain that things are 'okay'. Being restrictive in calories or essential oils only prolongs the 'time-out'. Estrogen is implicated in raising the cortisol binding protein as well as the estrogen/androgen binding protein. So with no menses (and less estrogen) the free cortisol goes up, making it perversely easier to gain midsection fat at the expense of muscle. This is seen in anorexics. This delicate treatment doesn't generally apply to gym workouts. I'm not trying to promote a state of laziness -just convince her it's no way to get her cycle back by preparing for a triathalon, or by burning the candle at both ends socially. And it goes completely without saying that it's absolutely no time to fast-track in school and take on advanced courses for which she doesn't otherwise have the academic prerequisites for . Intense workouts followed by rest in a hammock are perfect. Staying in a continual state of hunger and bone-weary exhaustion is Not. Hoping this helps. Have I missed anything? IP: Logged |

Thanks! Thats exactly what I thought, but I was baseing that belief on purely personal presumptions and assumptions. Its nice to hear someone else say the same thing! As for the male system, I know only too well. I took almost nine months last time to regain normal motility to my sperm. The levels themselves returned to normal quickly, but LH and FSH recovery were slow. I worked with a doctor, though and watched the progress, and took baseline testosterone levels and baseline sperm counts. I have naturally higher than average testosterone levels and a slightly higher than average sperm count. Post cycle, they all returned to the original baseline levels... Thanks for the input!!! Wow Artemis. You are a wonder..... "allow her to act in a delicate and cliche Victorian manner". I'm gonna try that one out sometime. It's weight training then straight to the hammock for this gal. I hope that means having my meals catered too. Well said. IP: Logged |
