What should be a females focus if she wants fat loss?

Good solid balanced diet...this has helped me the most. I eat 8 times a day now with plenty of protein 1.5-2g per pound of bodyweight. If she's heavy she might want to do per pound of lean body mass instead of overall weight. Lots of green veggies, good mix of complex carbs that I cut out as the day gets later. My last 2 meals I generally won't add complex carbs, just the veggies. I've also added PB and flax and avocado since the rest of my diet is so lean. Also lifting heavier and cutting back on the cardio has helped tremendously too. I've also been taking a fat burner...whether its helping or all the hard work and diet are doing it I'm not sure but I figure it can't hurt. Theres lots of good threads on women's diets here too.
