I tried looked for the old posts on BodyOpus or CKD diets but the search engine was downso I figured I would just post a new one. I want to start the CKD diet next week and would like to know some of your opinions on it. I plan to do it for 5 days on with carb loading for 2 days or less. I would like to know how people did on this diet and what kind of results they got. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch IP: Logged |

MissFit, I have been on Body Opus a few times and I think JL is on it right now. The basics of what I told her of my experiences are: good for a cutting cycle, but I do not recommend it long term. It will make you feel greasy from all the fat you are consuming, and you HAVE to take lots and lots of caffine to keep going. Drinkg gallons of water. Its worth it though if you are very strict and DO NOT CHEAT. Let me know if you have anymore specific questions and Ill try to answer them from my experience of the diet. IP: Logged |

Thanks SassyS.. I would love to know more about your experiences and what kind of meal plan you had. I am trying to write out all the ratios and determine the meal plans so that I can start on Monday. I know that Dan Duchaine wrote to wake up every two hours to eat on carb loading days but i think I will stick with the CKD diet for carb loading. i don't think I can handle waking up that often to eat. Any suggestions on how to take in 70% fat would be great. I have been using Flax Seed oil in my protein shakes for a while now and will continue that. That will atleast give me quite a bit of fat intake by itself. Anyway, anything that you can recommend would be greatly appreciated. IP: Logged |
