What is it and how does it prevent sides when taking Test? Also, I am about to start a Primo cycle, 12 weeks @ 50mg per week. Will Finistride prevent sides with Primo? [This message has been edited by way2blonde (edited July 27, 2000).] IP: Logged |

It will HELP prevent sides. It will not STOP them. Take a read of the thread - Help in stopping the sides. The last paragraph really spells it out nicely. But with only 50ml of primo you may not even need it! Wife and her friend did not used it on the test cycle we (they) just did. I even have some in stock too. ------------------ Lobo IP: Logged |

Finasteride will do Absolutely Nothing to stop any androgenic 'sides from primo. See, primo (methenolone) already has a 5-alpha reduced structure like dihydrotestosterone. So do winstrol, anavar, 'drol, masteron, proviron etc... Finasteride is a competitive inhibitor of the 5-alpha-reductase type II enzyme. It adds hydrogens (reduction) across the 3-4 double bond of testosterone to make dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone is about 10x more androgenic than unconverted testosterone. Deca or nandrolone (19-nortestosterone) also has this 1-4 double bond like testosterone. But there is no advantage to blocking the conversion as dihydronandrolone is thought by some to be less androgenic than nandrolone itself. Hoping this helps. IP: Logged |

I apologize, I needed to be more clear. Arte is most correct in that it is not to be used with deca, primo, etc. I was referring to the use of test in your question. Which finasteride WOULD be of benefit. And that 50mg of primo is a nice light start and you should not have too much if any sides. ------------------ Lobo IP: Logged |
