I am now down to 10% BF and am still holding at 129, 5'7" and looking the best ever. Last night I compteted in a bikini contest and made it through the preliminaries and the finals are in 3 weeks with a $16,000 prize package. I will be at 8% or so at that time and need to find a "winning" swimsuit. I also have a photo shoot coming up and need to find swimwear that does not cut into my lats when I pull em out. Of course, I would like a good bargain as I haven't been paid YET!!!!

What colors work best for bikini contests? I will be tan and have sandy blonde hair/ blue eyes.

Any advice from competitors would be appreciated!

Why would you want to be at 8%bf to compete in a bikini contest?

Check out the site that FC recommended on the subject:I need some advice. Great suites, kinda pricey though. But, I always wear bright neon colors, especially pink and yellow. Is it t-back ot full back? If it is t-back sometimes you can find good suites at the local stripper shops, usually have good prices too. Good Luck

I am competing in the bikini contest for the fun of it and because they have a big prize:-) I just heard about it from a friend and decided to enter for the heck of it since I'm well on my way to my goal. (being a bikini contest competitor wasn't my plan in the beginning and I do feel a little silly)
So that's why I need advice on what to wear since I've never done this before. No g-strings allowed.

I want to be around 8% BF because I am doing the EAS physical transformation contest. At 10% I'm not quite where I want to be for the final photos so I figure around 8-9% will be perfect. LOOKIN FREAKIER THAN EVER NOW! If I can figure out how to post a pic I will. Thanks for the help!

You should visit bestswimwear.com. As far as prices go I believe that for a good looking suit you are gonna pay a good price for it!

Try http://www.bikini-beach.com (Cheaper) The other one I like is http://www.colleenkelly.com.(Sure winner but pricey) Monica Brandt is shown modeling some of her suits on MuscleMag here and at the Bikini-Beach site they sell bikini contest suits and have some pretty wild pumps and high heels to match (I like the acrylic ones---they go with everything)

The only thing that stinks with on-line ordering though is that you have to wait to see what it really looks like and you don't have the opportunity to try it on before hand. So order way in advance if that's the route you decide to go.

Thanks for asking!
The contest is this Thursday night. I am a little worried because standing next to the "skinny girls" I look very muscular. I hope that doesn't turn off the judges. I found the cutest bathing suit. It's pink and furry with white trim. I'll keep you posted.

Good luck to you on Thurs. night. You will do fine. Don't worry that you're not "skinny" enough. If you're 5'7" & at such low BF already, it sounds like you're a sure win!!!

Pink w/ furry white trim sounds precious.

Go get 'em!!!
