Im trying to monitor my weight closely this summer, been in a cuttin cycle for 3 weeks, tons of cardio, adipokinetics, various other helpful items and I am soooooo frikkin tired of weighing 3-5 pounds more in the evenings than I do in the morning. Im not PMSing, and I take aldactone to help shed water, but FUCK%$#*&?!

(Just needed to vent)

Venting is good, but this one's a no-brainer. DON'T WEIGH YOURSELF IN THE EVENING!

Im not PMSing either (being a man) and its the same
Its perfectly normal! Also, if you measure your bodyfat level by electrical impedance, your bodyfat will be higher in the morning and lower in the afternoon, then get higher toward nighttime.
In the spirit of acuratness, weigh yourself at the same time of day, preferably morning. Afternoon and evening weight is influenced by what was ate and drank throughout the day. Not to mention it gets discouraging...

GET OFF THE FRICKING SCALE - THROW IT IN THE TRASH. IT IS OF NO HELP UNLESS YOU ARE MAKING WEIGHT FOR SOME TYPE OF EVENT!

Did you hear me????

Sassy - My scale is hidden in the closet...it no longer holds my interest and its the best move I've ever made...I look better now than I ever have - screw what I weigh.

ps - If you must weigh it should be at the same time every time....and NOT TWICE a day!! Maybe once a week - twice a month is better.

Also of note...
When you guys have your bodyfat tested (skinfolds), make sure you have it done earlier in the day, and BEFORE you workout! I had mine done last night, about 30 min. after completing some cardio, just to see what the error would be. Turned out 16%, and i'm at 11.5% right now! Just wanna help prevent some panic attacks that can be brought on by wrong measurements! Remember, too, that skinfold tests have a 3% margin of error, depending on the accuracy of the practitioner...
