Anyone here know where I can get I free reliable web hosting? My server went down again this morning and I had a ton of Fitness Chicks pics on it and she can't link to them anymore. So she deleted her post. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Tripod is reliable and free. I can still access the URL (http://uweb.superlink.net/heath1/) where the pics were, but 'tons of pics' wouldn't have been the term I would have used (I saw 6, not including the yuck.jpg) pic. I noticed the pics were deleted from the URL around the same time the thread was deleted. Strange. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Can you access them now?? I can't, and it's been an ongoing problem with my ISP the web service on that server is costantly going down so the links get severed. And FC winds up looking like half an ass so she deleted the post. You should e-mail Fitness Chick and ask her about Michael Scott or if you really want to play detective go to the Olympia this year you won't miss her. ------------------ IP: Logged |

The site is still up, but the links are broken because the pictures are no longer there (ie, they have been removed manually). Take a look: http://uweb.superlink.net/heath1/ You'll see this: Index of /heath1
And paying detective? It didn't take too much effort to find out the pics originated from the Michael Scott Agency. I won't be at the Olympia, but thanks for the invite. BTW, Iron God, you seemed a little upset in your last post. What's up with that? ------------------ IP: Logged |

Ceasar, First off the link is fine just when you post a pic in the pub www dir it doesn't load in internet explorer it just shows a box and no pic ever gets displayed this happen on and off constantly. I guess the lighting and style were a dead away for who the photographer was. Sorry if came off crass I meant no offense it's just that she got flamed for days (not on the womens forum thanks to Lobo) last time she posted a pic and it really upset her. For the most part the people on this forum are solid Bros and Sisters but lets face it AS use carries a stigma and anonimity is important to us. Caesar, IG

Hi Ceaser.....yes you were correct about the photography----He did shoot the pics....He is wonderful to work with----and one of the best in the industry. I took so much crap as Irongod said that we both seem to be overly defensive of me sometimes, so forgive us if we are brash. No disrespect IP: Logged |

IG, like I said in her original thread, I'm not trying to start trouble. However, removing the copyright from a MSA picture (or anything else for that matter) is in direct violation of copyright law. I don't even think it's legal for FC to scan pictures from her promotional package given to her from MSA (8x10's, comp cards, other print personal promotion, etc) for use on the Internet. I'm sure she could obtain permission to do so, but she wouldn't be able to obtain permission unless the copyright was shown and the picture wasn't altered. Again, not trying to start trouble, just voicing my concern. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Ceasar, You are 100% correct. But since this not a pay site and no product or person is being promoted she thought it would be cool, guess it ain't cool. Are you in the industry? ------------------ IP: Logged |

You could say that. It doesn't bother me if she uses the pics, but I imagine MSA might be a little more cool with it if they were personal pics she owned. I should point out that I am not speaking for MSA, though, so I could be wrong and they could be okay with it. ------------------ IP: Logged |
