Hello lovely ladies: Please help me here. My girl is on a small cycle of primo (100mg/week for 7 weeks) and is also taking .5cc of sust. every 2 weeks for 6 weeks. She has only had 200mg of primo so far in the past 3 weeks and .5cc of sust. but she says her voice is "feeling" scratchy and she can feel it in her throat. I can't tell by listening but I speak to her all the time so I can't really tell. Is there anything, besides stopping cycle, that can alleviate this? She can NOT sound like Chyna or those types of voices. Thanks for your help with this... IP: Logged |

Skip the next primo injection. Then back off on the primo by half - 50mg/week or strech the 100mg primo every 10 days. At this point your ok, but continue and it may be come a problem. Late Lobo IP: Logged |

It might be a good idea to let the existing medications wear off before adding any more. Have any spironolactone handy? IP: Logged |

stop the sust so test levels will not increase. cut the primo down to 50mg/week like warlobo said and so the test levels will not increase any further. she will still see results on 50mg/week. maybe after a few weeks of that, considering she is doing fine, increase the primo again for the last few weeks of the cycle. that's my .02 dirtyratt IP: Logged |

I have read that voice changes on women is not reversible unlike other sides. So to be sure the test will have to wait. Is it safe to assume it is NOT the primo?..I mean, that stuff is supposed to be the safest for women, after anavar I suppose. IP: Logged |

i have heard the same thing. you don't want a beautiful woman with a manly voice. it is just not worth it. i have had no voice change on primo before. dr IP: Logged |

This is one of the inherent problems with stacking for women especially if they have not done each roid separately - YOU DO NOT KNOW which one put her over the edge so to speak, the Sust is already in and will stay in for a few weeks, just back off the primo and/or skip a week on the sust. She has not "fallen" off the cliff yet. Seen this happen many times - just relax and notch the dosage down a bit. One thing she may be experiencing is some mild reaction to the sust. YOU know how it will effect some guys, flu like symptoms, sore throat, and sometimes down right getting sick. Women will also tend to over react to anything they may think is even close to being a voice change. Hell, she could have just snored really bad the night before. They will over concentrate on every little detail that might go wrong. This is not always a bad thing, just have to look at the situation objectively and take the necessary steps. Her voice is not going to go south yet, it does take some time. As I said, back off on the dose a bit and then keep a close eye on things. Late Lobo IP: Logged |

It is possible to get voice changes from Primo. That's what I did for my first cycle. Of course I was doing a high dose of 25 mg orals a day for 4 weeks. My voice got scratchy, and slightly deeper. It was definately the Primo. IP: Logged |

Hey.....what I have read is that hoarseness & scratchiness are the first indications of lengthening of the vocal chordes.....an irreversible side effect- so my advice would be to end her cycle soon. IP: Logged |

The folks here are right. You don't know what's causing the deepening because even primo can. You just don't hear about it as often because many women don't go above 100mg per week on the primo, which is still a pretty mild cycle. It may be the extra Sus is just enough to push her over the edge, or she could just be sensitive to primo. Or as WarLobo said, she could just be extra sensitive to any percieved changes in her voice. It's easy to get paranoid, but in this case it's better that you are paranoid rather than too casual. If it were me I would stop all AS and maybe even take some spirolactone as Artemis said. Once everything is under control, then you can sart her back on a lower dose of primo and go from there. ------------------ IP: Logged |
